Nov 06, 2025Aston at the Maui Banyan is a Mighty Beauty!
As a first timer to Maui and Hawaii, I wasn't quite sure where to stay. A family member suggested Kihei and so I booked Maui Banyan. Easy to get to from the Airport, using the Public Bus System, you will get dropped off near the entrance. First impressions, this place is massive, or so it seems when you're on foot. The room is absolutely massive with spacious area inside, a super comfy bed and a balcony to let that cool island breeze come through. The beach is close by, as well as a mini shopping centre with some restaurants and take away. This area is super safe and super chilled. I could walk to the bus stop to go to a bigger shopping mall or to other parts of Maui. Easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. There is a coffee filter machine provided in the room however for a self confessed coffee lover, I needed more coffee :D Nearby Food and drinks are about 5-10 minutes away. Small selection or you could catch transport and go further into town. There is a nice outdoor pool within the grounds of the resort.

Nov 03, 2025Good location, easy parking, great condo and welcoming staff.
The condo was great. It had all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable and was clean. Large fridge, oven etc. AC was strong, welcome for the hot days. The Pool and spa were great and well maintained (well heated). Parking was free and easy. The staff at reception was very welcoming and helpful. The location is close to shops, beach and also the boat ramp (snorkeling trips). Only minor quibble was a few of the non stick pans in kitchen were scratched, so should be replaced, hopefully by when we return again as we would definitely stay there again.

Great Place - Conveniently Located
We loved our deluxe one bedroom suite. It was so convenient to have a kitchen and laundry. On top of that we had 2 full bathrooms - so nice for showering. The Maui Banyan is also very conveniently located from 2 great beaches and a number of restaurants and stores - all were within walking distance! We had no issues with noise and loved the tropical garden that was our view. We didn't use the pool - it was crowded every time we thought about it but we were happy with the sandy beaches so it was fine with us. Also there were some other chairs outside of the pool area that we could use instead.

Good place to stay
Great location ... convenient to everything. I'd stay here again. Parking was convenient and the beach was close. The rooms vary ...; mine was very nice.

What a fabulous vacation
This resort is gorgeous! The location is ideal, with the beach directly across from us, great shopping and restaurants easily walkable. I can't imagine anyone not having a great time here.
