Low key, stunning, luxurious family friendly resort

Truly exceptional place. We traveled with our kids and stayed in a two bedroom suite. The setting is lovely! Embedded in beautiful trees, the property feels upscale and tranquil. The staff is so generous with their time and attention. Our kids loved snorkeling at the beach, ordering drinks at the pool and golf carting up the hill while practicing Spanish with friendly staff. We could have easily stayed a week and would return any time. Food was also great. 30 minutes from the airport and an easy drive. No amex plat upgrade but buffet included was great and flex departure time was appreciated.

Paradise Found: 25th Anniversary Magic

We just celebrated our 25th anniversary at the Andaz Papagayo and wow, what a perfect spot! The natural beauty blew us away - the resort fits right into Costa Rica's gorgeous landscape. The vibe is spot-on - relaxed but still feels special. It's definitely made for couples! Our anniversary couldn't have been better - just the right mix of nature and luxury. The staff were amazing too - always smiling, genuinely happy, and made us feel so welcome. Don't miss their onsite experiences and spa. If you're planning something special with your partner, this place delivers.

As Good as It Gets!

This is the White Lotus of South America. Luxurious, scenic, festive and fun, this tropical delight excels at delivering unique and compelling experiences as well as a stay unequalled. The rooms are large, spacious with views of monkeys in the trees, and bay beyond. The slopes and hills are easily managed, but there are golf carts to carry you to your destination. The Onda Spa offers many treatment, but the message can be counted among as one of the best. Dining offers various experience: Ostra, offers reimagined Costa Rican cuisine refined with global techniques. Chao Pescao is a share-all journey through Latin America and the Caribbean with an innovative menu. Meso, which is accessible by boat, offers Mediterranean flavors with a touch of Mesoamerican influences. Dine outdoors or on the sand. Be sure to stop by Coffee & Vinyls, a unique pairing of coffee and music. Here you will specialty coffee, caffeinated cocktails, organic wine and Italian deli bits and your favorite vinyl David Bowie record on display. The gym, one of which is outdoors, is equipment complete providing a workout with a view. All-in-all, it doesn't really get much better. There is something for everyone.

great resort

The natural surrounding of the resort allowed us to see a lot of monkeys around the property. The room view was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean and the free snacks at the minibar were convenient. The only downside was the dinner food could be better.

Great spot to park for 5 days!

We were traveling around Costa Rica with little kids and the Andaz proved to be the perfect place to stay and relax for a few days. Highly recommended for those with kids / couples (separate adult facilities), or anyone looking for a fun, beautiful place to relax. The spa was great as well. We scheduled a tour through the hotel which was okay but not too flexible with our schedule. We were so lucky to meet Nomad tourscr. we saw the reviews he came highly recommended by returning guests who toured with him before. We used him to go to the waterfalls, zip line, horse back riding and tubing. He tailored the trip for the day and time we had open and our driver was amazing and so helpful! I highly recommend Andaz resort it is a great property for a peaceful and relaxing getaway
