Beautiful property and service was above and beyond. Chef Sergio at Gaio restaurant and Luisca at coffee and vinyls both made the stay even more special. They are wonderful people that are experts in their craft. Every room is very spacious and the views are beautiful.

Remember to get the duty free alcohol at the airport. Even the local alcohol is expensive at the resort. $10 per domestic canned beer. I lost weight on this trip especially from the daytime heat. The food was expensive but at least the pizza was tasty and well priced. I wouldn't have come here and paid the full price. Thank goodness for the wedding discount. I found a private Volcano combo tour with an outside group not affiliated with the hotel. It was gonna be about $300 dollars plus for mountain biking. Rain shower was my favorite part since the window opens up.

VIP status!
Felt like a VIP! The staff remembers your name and takes time to speak with you. The architecture was aligned with the surroundings. I loved waking up to lush green trees outside of the huge windows. The turndown magically whisked away used towels and replaced them. Yamina led a suspended sound bath that cleared away your troubles

Amazing Vacations with Truly Friendly People”
I’ve stayed at the Andaz twice now, and each visit has been an absolute delight. The pool area is beautiful, and the restaurant selection has grown even more since my last stay — I highly recommend trying Chao Pescado. All of the staff members are super friendly and incredibly helpful. The beach is right outside the resort and has a variety of vendors make sure to contact Gabriel from NomadToursCR for some amazing tours. I’ve gone on two of his waterfall and rainforest tours, and both experiences were incredible!

Beautiful resort with an amazing crew!
Stayed with family earlier this week. Had an amazing time. Stay in the Bay view suites if you can. The views are amazing. Whitney, (The Asst. GM) exemplifies the Andaz hospitality. She made sure that our family had the best time during our trip. If you’re a golfer, def recommend the golf course. One of the most scenic courses that I’ve played at. Thank you team Andaz for helping us create some great memories on our trip!
