Needs renovating but a great stay
Firstly, yes it is dated. However, once you look beyond the yesteryear decor, this is actually a very good hotel. The rooms could do with renovating and the shower plumbing could be refreshed to stop the tub backing up. Our bed was comfortable and clean. We had zero issues with cleanliness. What makes this hotel amazing value for money is the every 30 mins free shuttle to and from Disney parks. The drivers were friendly and the bus comfy Parking is $22 a night plus tax, which I'd imagine is still cheaper than Disney Parks. The location is brilliant.

Wouldn’t recommend.
This hotel was okay. I wouldn’t stay here again compared to other options available near Disneyland. The only reason this review is getting a 2 star is because the staff are extremely friendly, otherwise would be a 1 star. The description of our room was extremely misleading, we booked the king suite with castle view, which is portrayed to be the Disneyland castle but you’re actually just facing a brick wall which is “their castle.” There were black hairs on the floor and in the bath tub when we arrived, I had to clean up myself just to feel comfortable in the spot. The rooms and hotel itself are dated, I didn’t eat here except for a couple snacks and a coffee which were ok. The shuttle service to the park was adequate, all in all I would say to just spend the extra money on a Disney resort if this is the reason for your stay, or somewhere closer to the park. I do not recommend this hotel and wish I hadve stayed somewhere better.

Worst hotel near disneyland stay away and go anywhere else!
Currently here our first night. They placed us in their old building in which doesnt have air conditioning and your thermostat only allows you to manage the heat. When the staff at the front desk confirmed this they helped us switch rooms to their main building with a/c. We thought this would be better but we spent a bunch of time navigating the cooridors and we got lost with another couple that accurately described the hotels hallways, lack of any airflow and outdated decor as a scene out of the movie the shining. It was incredibly uncomfortable, the elevator is small and creaky and slow, im a 6’8 dude and i almost had a panic attack by walking around finding our room because the air was so hot and stale even though its at night. We finally made it to the room, definitely a slight bit bigger than other hotel rooms but the bed was extremely stiff and outdated, a/c was a 7/10 in the new room they have us, it was still facing the freeway which gave off some noise. Ive stayed at old hotel 6 rooms in seedy neighborhoods that were comfier and recycled air better than this hotel. If you’re anyone that hits disney often avoid this hotel like the plague. There’s nothing about this hotel that’s majestic anymore and its a real shame because they have a shuttle thats great to get to and from disneland. For the money this is one of the worst bang for your bucks in the area, save up another $20 for a night somewhere better and sleep in a comfy bed, good a/c, updated hvac systems, rooms with decor from the last 50 years and more. Do. Not. Stay. Here. They could give us free rooms and i still wouldn’t stay here.

Loved the hotel, one bad experience with the front desk may stop us from going back
We stayed 3 nights, I really loved the room. It was a little dated, but it was clean and big. We were able to see the fireworks from our room. The shuttles were also aged, but the drivers were nice and at busy times they did call for extra shuttles. The lobby was beautiful, but we didn’t get a chance to check out the pool or garden because we were at the parks each day from 8am-10pm. The only issue that I had which may keep me from going back: We checked in early and they held our bags since our room wasn’t ready. When we finally got back to the hotel at nearly midnight, I could not find my baggage claim number. I told the lady at the front desk that I couldn’t find it. Her response was did you take a picture? No, I hadn’t. I know it was my fault that I couldn’t find the ticket. However instead of telling us she could get someone to help us, she told us we couldn’t have our bags. I thought she was joking, but she handed me the key to our room and tried to send us on our way. I had to ask again for my luggage. Her response was, well I suppose I can go to the back and see if someone will release them to you… which she did and the lovely lady from behind the door came out, asked us for a description of the bags, found them and brought them to us. I have to think long and hard about whether I would stay here again, we are heading back to the parks in June 2024 with our family. Again I know that I was the one who couldn’t find my baggage claim ticket, but not offering to get us help from the beginning was rude in my opinion.

Don't stay here
Terrible managerial approach. Understaffed & overworked with maid service limited to every three days. Staff is helpful & do the best they can. Slow internet, no USB ports, wonky electrical outlets. Food is meh-bad & expensive. Adequate shuttle service to & from Disneyland.
