Good Hotel in Downtown Sarasota
+ Good location in Downtown Sarasota + Very good service (flexible, found us a room with 2 queen beds for 4 even though we accidentally booked a King room. Also allowed us to find parking on the street to skip the valet overnight) + Good price around $200 per night for Downtown + Good items available in room (safe, fridge, 4 sets of towels) + Allowed my status for late checkout at 4PM - Not as modern with room has not good lighting (no bedside lamps) AC was old, and bathroom only a shower linen cover, carpeted hallways - No complimentary breakfast (you can only order a limited menu at the reception)

Business Trip With a Touch of Leisure
Great clean hotel in perfect spot for exploring downtown. Lobby area with all the bright colours and seating options creates a real social atmosphere to enjoy a drink. Rooms are on point. Biggest asset is the staff of this place they go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable, always smiling and willing to help.

Loved the location
Loved the hotel! It's super close to Main Street. Like walking distance. The room was ready early and it was spotless! The shower was hot, the bed was super comfy, and the A/C was blasting. What more could you ask for? I'll tell you, a rooftop pool, hot tub, and bar!!!! I didn't get to try the bar in the lobby and missed the live music, but there is always next time. The front desk concierge even told me happy birthday so that was a plus. I would absolutely stay here again.

Clock radio nightmare.
I feel that when Aloft room service allows the clock radio in the room to remain set with the previous guest’s wake-up time (in this case 5:50AM!!) the least the hotel can do is offer a complementary breakfast if not a discount on the cost of the room. WTF?? To me this speaks volumes about failures in management philosophy and training. It should be one of the most fundamental things to instruct room service staff: MAKE SURE THE CLOCK-RADIO ALARM IN THE ROOM ISN’T ON.

Satisfied
First time staying at this hotel and this location. Check in was a breeze although we purchased our reservation through capital one travel which saved us $150 overall. Vallet is the only parking option, wich is runby a third party who is timely and very respectful it costs $18 a night and is not part of your reservation with the hotel. Breakfast is small portions, made to order and is expensive in regard to the portion size. We only ate there once, However, the location is within walking distance to "First Watch" which is a brunch restaurant (That place gets 5 stars! a must go). Again what the hotel may lack it makes up for with its proximity to restaurants, shops and the beach. Rooms were pretty fair priced at $131 a night but I heard they cost an outrageous price during season. We stayed for 5 days and did not get any house keeping. Both bars are slightly overpriced(understood) Lastly the pool is VERY SMALL. The gym is massive. Overall would stay there again but only for $130 or less a night. WE CHOSE A CITY VIEW ROOM AND DID NOT GET THAT. WE HAD AN INTERNAL VIEW Which means we looked at room windows on all 4 sides.
