Gracias al crew del First Club!
I love staying at Allegro. The family oriented vibe is great. The beach access is awesome and always beautiful. Special thanks to the First Club crew (Angel, Andres, Rafael, Mayra, Martha y Yahir). They made our stay very special as usual. I will go back for sure.
Overall Good Experience except for the bad service of the people of the reception
The hotel was an average 3 star hotel with its pros and cons, but you get for what you pay, food was good, not much variety within day to day, but i can say 6.5 out of 10, the rooms are also average7 out of 10, for the restaurants with reservation, you cant reserve for the day that you check in in the hotel, and what i find not fair, is that they only allow you to make 1 reservation for each 3 days of stay. The staff of the hotel only talking about, bartenders, waiters, cleaning people were awesome, but talking about front desk and guest services..... not very good service, and in that part doenst qualify that you get for what you pay.... because customer service should be good no matter what you pay
Arrived today and diaappointed
I arrived today and So far my experience is not too good which is a shame because the resort seems not too bad.However, when it comes to service I don't know what to think.I asked to change room for an upper floor and it seems very complicated even though I was told the hotel is only 40% full.we've been given a very noisy room by the basket ball playground when we were hoping for quiet and relaxing surrounding and not too clean. It took pictures which I will post later and update my post with he latest. See if they can solve our issues in a customer service oriented manner.
Not fancy, but laid back, on the beach spot
We've been to Allegro at least a dozen times. We don't go because it's fancy. We go because it's small and we know what we're getting - no high rises, good food, kind staff, and great pool atmosphere right on the beach. Spend the extra money per night for a superior premium room. It's closer to the beach.
My wife and I had stayed here to revisit after many years. We were very displeased with the property as we are First Club members and had problems with cold showers daily and several days no water! The property needs significant updating as buildings are showing their age. Walkway lights were out or not adequately working at night. The buffet was not as good as it was in the past as not as much selection as in the past. It received the bit higher than it deserved as the beach was great and all the employees were excellent to deal with!
