    We had a great time

    We had a great stay at the Alexandria Resort, the food and drinks were good and everything was central to the beach. The staff was sweet including the servers at restaurants and Cadmiel

    Stunning Beach, But Service and Food Were a Big Disappointment

    We stayed at the Alexandra Resort and had very mixed feelings about the experience. The biggest highlight is without a doubt the beach—it’s honestly one of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen. Truly breathtaking and the main reason this place is worth considering. I also loved that you can use the sister property, which was a great addition and overall a much better experience. Unfortunately, the rest didn’t live up to that level. The food was below average across the board and definitely not what you would expect for the price. What stood out the most—in a bad way—was the staff. The service was extremely disappointing, and at times it genuinely felt like a competition of who could be the rudest. It made the overall experience frustrating and far less enjoyable than it should have been. The resort is also very overpriced, but I understand that part of that is simply the cost of being in Turks and Caicos. Overall, the beach is absolutely incredible, but the service and food need serious improvement.

    Paradise!

    This is our third visit to Alexandra Resort in Turks and Caicos! It keeps getting better and better each time! I can’t say enough about ALL of the staff! You are ALL truly amazing people who go above and beyond to make vacationing there a true paradise! Everything was absolutely wonderful and we cannot wait to return to this beautiful resort!

    Communication is not a strong suit here.

    I am writing a review for the experience I had dealing with the staff at Alexandra. Very disappointing. I was trying to book a trip for my family. I emailed the resort and first spoke with Asia, who provided me with all the information THAT I PROVIDED TO HER. After a few email exchanges, I asked for a manager and I was deferred to "dave". I had a few questions and it was getting ridiculous that I could not get an answer. He finally gave me a quote which was $11K and that didnt' include airfare or transfers (Costco was providing me with $10K for all of the above). I would just have to pay the difference for the room size (I wanted a 2 bedroom and they had a 1 bedroom). I gave Dave the opportunity to help me out and it's been a hassle for this resort to think outside of the box. The only answer I kept getting was that's policy. Very disappointed. I will take my $10K to another resort that will provide us with service and better communication.
