Best experience yet.
We came here for our 20th anniversary. It was breath taking. The room, service, amenities, everything was amazing. This was an experience of a life time. The spa was also top notch! The entire week was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly Recommended
The resort was very nice and clean! The staff was very helpful and pleasant; especially our servers Nigel and Albert. The environment was very relaxing and the all inclusive amenities were very adequate.

Amazing property!
We had a wonderful stay, the 2 bedroom ocean view suite was killer! Upon arrival and throughout the trip, Gibron and Eric made sure we were always comfortable through our stay. A big shout out to Tricia for hooking us with some special private experiences; molecular mixology and an in-suite chef prepared dinner (ask her about it!). They were super cool and had my family excited the whole trip! Our room was very clean and the modern appointments are top notch! The food was REALLY good, I don’t think we had anything we didn’t like. Sunset dinner on The Deck, must be experienced! Minor things that may matter to some, the shower water pressure is indeed very low. The quarter length shower door design is not my style. Poolside food/drink service for me was hit or miss, I prefer more attention, especially in a cabana. My true rating would be 4.5, but 4.0 would be too low. We loved coming here, I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Great stay and location
The staff is the best part of this place. Drinks are pretty good, and the food was very tasty. Marriott gave me some booking issues, but they were worked out. Blanca by the pool was really nice and attentive.

Not a win for us
Lifetime Platinum Bonvoy member here. It really saddens me to write a sub par review of this property. We really wanted to love it and be able to bring friends on future visits, but the experience needs much improvement. The property is very nice and the grounds are well maintained. It is sargassum season here and the workers on the oceanfront work tirelessly to remove it from the shore. The sargassum is very smelly. But with a breeze, it becomes less noticeable… but it is a permanent feature if you’re staying in the Reef House area of the property. The shoreline “beach” is unusable. The two pools are warm and crowded. It isn’t refreshing or relaxing at all. The bartending and wait staff are cheerful and we enjoyed their hospitality. We opted to upgrade (paid) to an ocean front 2br reef house room. The furnishings are shabby and need a facelift- dirty and torn upholstery on the sofa and occasional chair. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were fine. We requested a rollaway bed but later learned there was a $75 charge per night- which, in our experience, is typically waived for bonvoy members. We were offered linens to make up the sofa in the living room for an alternate sleeping place- and a thin brown blanket was delivered to our room. The kitchen is very basic- we requested a frying pan to cook some breakfast and it was delivered by housekeeping. Some maxwell house coffee packets came with the room… if you want to make your own weak and barely drinkable coffee in your room. I think our main point of disappointment was the fact that we specifically chose this property because we are loyal marriott members. But the amenities, upgrades and attention to details really missed the mark. We found out on our last day that we should have received complementary breakfast during our stay. But we weren’t told during check in. I think with some effort this could’ve been a great experience. But with the cost of the trip- it’s not a repeat for us. The Hilton Mahogany property and Victoria House looked amazing.
