I love this hotel
Our 2 BR Reef House suite was wonderful. Everyone working here was super nice and friendly and professional. My recommendation: rent a pool side cabana and you can order drinks and food which they will deduct from the rental price. We paid $200 for the cabana and spent $200 for food and drinks for the entire day and it was so worth it. Service was attentive and quick and amazingly the food was great (thought I would never say this about hotel food). So glad we booked this hotel which is a bit further away from all the hustling and bustling of downtown San Pedro.

Alaia
Four of us spent 5 days at the Marriot alaia earlier this month. We were upgraded to a beach front villa from our booked villa which was amazing. The main pool was out our front door and the beach was just outside our back door. We did the all inclusive option which included everything except for the mixology/ piano bar. However, even if you are all inclusive I recommend going to have a drink there. Jojo made us amazing cocktails after asking us a few questions on our preferences. The staff there took great care to make sure everything came out perfectly. food was delicious at all the restaurants. Antonio manned the beach bar when we were there and we ended up spending every evening having drinks there. The dive shop is right off the dock at the resort which was really convenient for booking.

Amazing resort
We had such a wonderful experience at the Alaia! The property is gorgeous and closely located to town for easy access to other restaurants and shops. The staff at the Alaia goes above and beyond to make you feel extra special. Omar was our server at the pool and was extremely hospitable and made sure we never had an empty drink. We had a relaxing spa day with massages and facials that were glorious! Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved sitting on our patio to have morning coffee or ending our evening with a card game and night cap. We will definitely be recommending the Alaia to our friends and family. We hope to make another trip back soon!!

Beautiful Property, Amazing Service, Delicious Food!
My sister, niece and I stayed at the Alaia Belize for five days and four nights in one of the property's Oceanfront Reef Houses, which was a 2 Bedroom Suite, Bedroom 1: 1 King, Bedroom 2: 1 Queen(s), with a Patio and beautiful views. We had the best house (3711) with the perfect location near a playground, bar, restaurant, and between both pools on the property. The service was impeccable starting with Eric, who took our bags to our house and gave us a tour of the property and left us with a prayer for a nice stay and encouraging words. Thank you Eric! The star in the service department was by far Omar! Omar waited on us hand and foot near the pool and made sure that we had everything we needed. Omar went above and beyond on a daily basis. And he not only made us feel special, but we could see him treating all of the guests with the utmost respect and professionalism. Thank you Omar! Do yourself a favor and visit the Mixologist in the lobby jazz bar! What a treat to see him make alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks! Lastly, all of the food we had on property was delicious. Special mention to the shrimp and mango ceviche and of course you can never go wrong with a fry jack for breakfast. Overall, we had an amazing time and plan to return soon!

Another great stay!
3rd time staying at Alaia in last 18 months. Continues to get better and better. Lots of staff remain from the beginning and they are always so helpful! Out by the pool you have Omar and Maria who are great! Concierge service always helpful with Sarai and Jesus (this man couldn’t get through to a particular restaurant for us, so he went there in person to make a reservation!) Food is great, great location more in southern part of town, but close walk along the beach to May other restaurants and bars. We will return! Just got back last night and starting to plan for May…
