    No Compassion Paid Booking

    I had a prepaid booking at this hotel during my planned trip to Manchester in early February. Unfortunately, just before my stay, we had a critical medical emergency involving my mother. I contacted the hotel immediately to request either a date change or credit for a future stay. Given the seriousness of the situation, I hoped for some flexibility or compassion. However, my request was denied without any attempt to accommodate or offer alternatives. I understand cancellation policies exist, but in cases involving medical emergencies, a more humane and flexible approach would have been appreciated. This experience was disappointing, especially during an already distressing time for my family. I would encourage future guests to carefully review the cancellation policy before booking, as exceptions may not be considered even in serious emergencies. We are hoping to reschedule our trip later in the year and I know for certain I will not be choosing this hotel for my stay.

    SHUBH - The absolute Jem of AC marriot

    We were a Group of 5 Doctors who were always running out of time at breakfast and the staff at AC MARRIOT MANCHESTER CITY CENTER always made us feel at ease and always greeted us with smiles during our busy stay to reduce our stress. A special shoutout to SHUBH who always made our breakfast in the morning delightful. SHUBH accommodated us from what we needed to always knowing what we needed next (even if it was 5 different things) , He is an excellent asset to the team at AC Marriott, what a Jem you Have.
