    Wouldn’t stay again

    Stayed for one night while visiting the Christmas markets. Hotel quite clean and is in a great spot. Bit disappointed that it was not stated on the Marriott website that you have to leave £40 deposit for the room in case of breakages. Been in 4 Marriott hotels this year and this has not happened. Some people will continue to spoil it for others. Also extremely upset that they take a pound City Tax too. Looking in my bank account they have also taken an extra £2 therefore making this a £3 tax.I have phoned the hotel to question this but they are quite adamant this is not the case when I can actually prove that they have taken £1 plus £2. For this reason would not stay again.

    Clean, Central, but Needs Some Updates

    This was my second time staying here. The hotel is clean with a nice lobby and offers good value for money. My room was spacious with a comfortable bed. However, the bathroom could use some improvements—the shower screen isn’t quite big enough, so the floor gets soaked, and there was a bit of mould in the shower corners, although the rest of the bathroom was clean. The room didn’t have a great view, and I’m not sure any of the rooms do. It also needs more lighting, as there are no spotlights, making it feel quite dark. The location is very central and I felt safe, though there are quite a few homeless individuals in tents around the hotel. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.

    Modern hotel.

    Lovely modern hotel. This hotel allows third party businesses to decorate rooms before arrival which can be a lovely surprise. 24 hour parking less than a 5 minute walk away for £8.70 which is a bargain to say it’s so close to so many things. Fridge in the room is ideal for longer stays or just light refreshments. The bathroom door is slightly see through but not a major issue could be for people travelling with parents or friends. Room was a tad cold but did manage to heat up. £97 a night was bit expensive for a thursday night.

    Excellent personal service

    Excellent personal service from receptionists, bar and breakfast teams. Room comfortable and clean. Reasonable price for three of us in a family room.

    Brilliant hotel

    The rooms are clean and then amenities are good but they do not have a sauna as listed. Breakfast is fresh and you can ask the kitchen to make omelettes. All the staff are very friendly especially Subh who was very helpful, friendly and an all round very nice person, he made me feel very welcome and let me know he was on hand to answer any questions. It is in a good location as well and only a 5 minute walk from town centre.
