A beautiful hotel in a prime location with incredibly kind staff
My husband and I stayed here for four nights in early December 2025. The hotel is lovely (the exterior lights and indoor decorations were especially pretty for the festive season). The hotel is also in a fantastic location, a short walk away from both the South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations, with easy access to the South Kensington Museums. The room, though on the smaller side, was comfortable, clean, and attractively furnished. The breakfast spread is also extensive - it had everything a person could possibly want. On the second full day of our stay, I noticed that a dragon plush had gone missing from our room. I reported it to Elga, the very nice young woman who had checked us in, and told her that I suspected it had accidentally been swept up with the linens, since I was positive I had forgotten it was on the bed. From this moment forward, Elga, Durgesh, and others were emotionally invested in finding the item. It's remarkable the lengths the staff members went to remedy a situation that wasn't even entirely of their own making. We were so impressed with how seriously they took this missing item - it didn't matter what it was - and how invested they were in showing us that they genuinely cared about it. For this reason, and many others, we'll be back.

Extremely Helpful Staff
During our stay my wife unfortunately injured her knee badly - Syed and the concierge team were very helpful with the difficult situation. They assisted with the wheelchair and helping us get to hospital. They went above and beyond which we were very thankful for.

A very good option
The hotel was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was recently appointed- not huge but not unusual for a city hotel. Maybe my favorite hotel bathroom in a long, long time. Breakfast was good- not great. I didn't go to the afternoon tea. My biggest complaint is the dinner menu at the Esq lounge in the evenings- it is very small and not particularly interesting, and worst of all they close the kitchen early, even on weekends. The location is good- it is pretty close to the Kensington South Station. (A little far if dragging luggage, but very doable). A strong value, and I would stay again.

Splendid personal service and high end touches.
Rosie made it superb from the moment I walked in. She was kindly training a new hire and yet she made me feel very at home and made sure I got the best room for my needs. Her authentic approach made me feel at home and comfortable from the outset. The rest of the staff was very attentive as well addressing any requests or needs expeditiously. The place also has a unique charm and character but it is not overstated and not stuffy like some of the other area choices.

A gem - fabulous staff and comfortable place to stay
I have stayed at this hotel many times. The staff are superb. Desk staff are always cheerful, professional, and helpful. Concierge services are always super helpful, especially Syed, who has assisted me many times. The hotel is perfectly located, rooms are always tidy and comfortable, breakfast is fine (but I rarely eat it as I am not a fan of breakfast, in general). When I learned the hotel was fully booked in May when I wanted to be in London, I changed my trip dates so I could stay here again. It's' that good.
