Dec 30, 2025Perfect Beach Family Holiday Trip
Hotel staff especially - Hope and Xanthia at the front desk of the Boardwalk Inn were amazing and very friendly. The location is great and just a few steps to the beach. It has tennis courts, golf courses, a heated pool, and a hot tub! The hotel rooms and hotel were very clean. It was a quiet and fun place! It had a very festive atmosphere with holiday decor and New Year activities.

After Christmas getaway
The Boardwalk Inn at Wild Dunes is the perfect location to vacation with family. We loved the Christmas decor and the ability to walk on the beach, play tennis and golf, and eat without leaving the property. The rooms are spacious and the balcony is larger than I expected. Every staff member was helpful and cheerful. Phillisa was especially kind and responsive helping me locate my son’s wallet.

Really great beachfront resort with amazing service
Joe gave us a very warm welcome. He was amazing to talk to and made sure we were taken care of and had a wonderful celebration! The resort is amazing and the vibe is super cool!

Joe was amazing at check in, he upgraded our room and gave us all the info/recommendations we needed! Other than him, most of the staff was clueless as to what was happening. Valet guys are a mess, couldn’t wake them up when we arrived late in the evening and having trouble finding peoples cars. Restaurants had no idea how to deal with the Amex breakfast benefit. The market food was so greasy we couldn’t eat it (even the croissant was dripping with oil). Slow service. Room and amenities are nice but it’s a shame the rooftop was closed during our stay. Overall a nice stay, but have been to better places in the Amex collection.
