Paradise
Great hotel, beautiful beach and pool I loved my time here! Our pool waitress Dolores was the best, so attentive and lovely we had a ball with her! Manny was so smiley and attentive and all of the staff were brilliant. The only reason why I didn’t make it a 5 out of 5 stars is due to the rooms and the food. They were great but the rooms are quite outdated and my bed had a creak noise each time I moved which bothered my sleep. The food was nice but in the restaurants during the evenings the portions were too small, especially at the Indian which was ashame! Over all, great hotel with welcoming staff and amazingly kept grounds which are stunning. I would definitely recommend to anyone

Hit or miss game
We stayed in many AI resorts in Antigua, Aruba, Costa Rica, DR, Jamaica, Mexico – so I think I can make some generalizations. Based on the reviews I read before choosing the hotel – TRS is a flagship in the 4 Palladium Resorts complex. Looks like this was a wrong assumption. The main issue – the rooms. Our one was badly outdated, with a very noisy AC. During our first evening the room temperature was 23.5C (74.3F). We complained to our butler, she called maintenance, the maintenance guy said there is nothing he can do. We requested room change; the butler suggested to wait till the morning. We agreed (did we have choice?). Next day – next butler, next maintenance guy, same result. Our request for the room change was denied, but we’d been suggested a free hydro-massage as a compensation – feels like a bad joke, right? During the next couple of days, the room temperature ranged from 23.2C (73.8C) to 24.3C(75.7F). We didn’t spend much time in the room, and during the night used the fan on full speed – it was still hot. I showed the picture of our thermostat to the front-desk, and they smiled in response: this is a good temperature. Closer to the end of our vacation they had a major breakdown of the AC cooling system- according to them 3 buildings didn’t have enough AC. During this time, we had 25.6C (78.1F). This been fixed late night; after the fix our “unrepairable” AC started working slightly better. We had a party of 9, occupying 4 rooms in 3 buildings around the pool (50,51,52). In NONE of the rooms the AC worked properly – it was either too hot or too cold, and you had no ability to control the temperature. During the check-in the front-desk tried hard to sell us $100/night premium package (our butler did the same). The “people in green” are shadowing you, trying to sell you the traveler’s club membership. Unfortunately, this resort is about selling more than about service. Our friends tried to get a pair of slippers, which been missing from the room at day 1 - for 4(!) days. Every time they received the response from butler, that the order been placed. On day 4 they asked the housekeeper and immediately received the slippers. The food is OK. Based on the reviews, we expected much more from the French restaurant, spend there 2.5 hours for dinner, and said: No more. After every restaurant visit, we went to the main buffet in Palace for fruits, deserts, and ice-cream. We love DR, we love Punta Cana, we’ll definitely return back. But not to TRS, unless until they fix the rooms and the attitude. The flagship resort cannot be hit or miss game. It must be 100% hit.

Husband and Wife paradise date week
This was our first visit to the Dominican Republic, although we have traveled throughout the Caribbean to many other locations in the past. We have never returned to the same spot twice, but I can confidently say that we have found our place and will return to this exact location. I have zero complaints about this property. From arrival to departure, we had an amazing experience. The staff was genuinely helpful and attentive. This location has something for everyone: If you want peace and quiet, enjoy the premium club where we never had to search for a pool bed or chairs, regardless of the time of day. For daytime energy, head to the beach and the pool by Helios restaurant. And if you’re looking to party and stay up late, the secret pool and bar are the places to be. For the latter two areas, it’s best to arrive early to secure your spot; we found that 9 AM worked well for us. The restaurants we dined at were all excellent. We tried Indian cuisine, Vietnamese fusion, a grill, Japanese, and a buffet, and we had no issues with our meals (though you might want to avoid the chicken if you prefer it not to be overcooked). I gave sleep quality an average rating as i found the beds a bit warn and hard for my liking. This wont stop me from returning. In summary, if you're looking for a fantastic adults-only getaway with a little bit of everything, this is the perfect spot for you.

Good experience for the value.
The quality of the facilities was high and the batler service was appreciated. The resort itself is very quiet and does not offer much in terms of activities. On the other hand, the sister resorts provide more of that. The a la carte restaurants are very good and not difficult to book. No problem finding chairs at the multiple pools and the beach. Food choices at the main resort are limited, but again the sister resorts provide more options.

Workout/Entertainment
The POP entertainment/ workout staff was great! Planned a lot of fun workouts and activities. Wilson and David were our favorite instructors. They were very nice, full of energy and made us work hard while still having fun! They also played great music. There was a variety of activities such as jump class, Zumba, yoga, polities all right by the beach.
