Beautiful but needs work
Just came back from our honeymoon- loved our Butler Edward!!!! Some really nice parts to this resort but some points need work. The food was mediocre- only a few restaurants worth mentioning- Capricho for breakfast- La Bobeme for dinner - and the chic cabaret is entertaining and food is good- just prepare for a long night :) The staff at the resort are all amazing. The bad points are the Travel Club- they try to get you in the beginning of your trip to “buy-in” to a membership (ours was a crazy $40k) and then get 50% off your vacations- BE WARNED and be strong if this is not what you want for a relaxing - no hassle vacay! We tried escaping 2x’s snd they still found us lol! We finally had to be firm- no! Perhaps a firm no in the very beginning will save you a half day lost like we had. After that - we enjoyed our trip and our time:)

Beautiful property & Great staff
Me and the girlfriend went there for her birthday. The hotel itself was wonderful. The grounds were well. Kept. The swimming pool was nice. The ocean was close to our room and beach well kept.

Not a 4/5 Star
Terrible Food, Rooms are damp and outdated, Service in restaurants are sub par. This is not a 4/ 5 star resort. Too expensive for the value. The good was the pool, beach, BBQ restaurant, Japanese and Argentinian. Entertainment was ok, The live singers in Hemingway excellent!

Disappointing Trip
This was our second TRS stay and it was a complete disappointment. The resort is very dated and not at the level of a 5 star. The food was not great, but more importantly as a vegetarian it was very hard as food was not labelled and no one was able provide the information when asked. The beach was quite nice but staying on the third floor you overlook a garbage dump which is very off putting. Not a five star hotel.

4 Star Hotel
Adult only section does not have a lot of amenities you have to go to the other properties to access most things.
