What a mistake I did booking there
Was there 15 years ago when they just opened. What a contrast now! From a very unfriendly front desk that on check in told me “we just upgrade platinum bonvoy members” and that’s the policy of this hotel !!!! Took out my bonvoy gold app showed him about upgrades , etc and he called the manager at that time who said we are 100% booked. Wow told her I can bet you you are not ; opened the bonvoy app and saw that I could reserve an improved room ! She couldn’t care less. Was given a room that literally you could see the 15 years has gone by . Furnishings scratched, to say the least. Was there for 4 nights one day I left the room by 6 am, came back at 3 pm and room was not done !!! Incredible. The attitude of most of the front desk as well as few other people is like we don’t care about you. One morning I went down at 5 am for coffee and the rude person on the front desk told me “ coffee comes at 6 am” which I replied is my third day here and always that I come down by 5 am coffee is ready. To tell you the truth couldn’t care less. I was never called by my last name or told what amenities I had been a bonvoy gold member . Definitely I would not go back. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They need an attitude change, the friendly welcoming Mexican hospitality is gone at that property.

Great Hotel But A Bit Far Out
The Westin Santa Fe was great- the room, furnishings, housekeeping and staff were all first-class. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the restaurant and bar were good too. The only slight negative is the location is somewhat far from Mexico City’s main attractions.

Aging rooms, perfect location, friendly staff.
Hotels is in a very nice area and convenient for when visiting for business in the area. It shows signs of aging; rooms are from the early 2000's which needs and remodel. Staff is very friendly but sometimes miss the mark for being attentive. Overall good hotel, but expectations are way higher for a hotel of this brand, and for the money spent.

Safe area with great quality
Amazing location and well worth the stay. I can send my business clothing to be dry cleaned and pressed and it will come back nice. The place is modern, clean, everyone is nice and respectful and most importantly it's very safe there. You can take transportation to the more fun areas but you have the Samora mall right up the hill with cinema and typical food in that mall, or go nearby to great local tacos.

Surprised at Westin hotel
The building and location it’s nice, but I had so many issues with the rooms and service received that I never expect that from a Westin. First room it was given to us the A/C it wasn’t working properly and the room didn’t have a service bar. This second item it was very important because my wife needs to keep her insulin in a fridge. So we were moved to another room in a worse floor location !!! It would have been nicer if we were moved to a better room after we had to pack again all our clothes and the malfunction of the hotel. In the new room we warned the front desk the service bar wasn’t complete, and not even that we were charged the day after we checked out for items we never take. Even that in our check out we clarified we didn’t consume anything and that we warned days before that in the fridge was missing things. It was very bad taste the hotel did that after all we had with the service, malfunction of the hotel, etc…. Not even all the bad experience we had in the hotel, at the other hand we had a very nice experience with one person from the hotel who’s name was Mariana from costumer service,. She tried to give her best to us, so we could have a better time in our stay. And she certainly did.
