DO NOT BOOK!
DO NOT BOOK! The elevator takes 10-15 minutes which made me late for work and I wasn’t able to get breakfast. My room key needed to be reset 1-3x per day to get to my floor on the elevator. They have no concierge and only have 1 person in the lobby to handle check in or any other issue you may have… which you will to get your card to work to get to your floor?

Exemplary housekeeping
This hotel was built in the 1970’s and the upkeep is very good. Service in all areas is very friendly. The food on the breakfast buffet was quite good with a good selection of food. We accidentally left the Do Not Disturb sign on and asked for late afternoon towel service. Instead they cleaned the whole room. The beds were perfect. I would stay here again!

Look elsewhere for your downtown Atlanta stay.
Hotel really needs to be refurbished. Lots of torn carpeting, ripped furniture, dirty linens. I sent pictures to Marriott and to their leadership. For the money there are much better options in downtown Atlanta. Certainly expected more from a Westin. The restaurant had amazing views, food was good, and service was great.

Look elsewhere
Whilst staff were all friendly and helpful, overall my shoet stay was pretty grim. Due to building work couldn't find the entrance. No wifi available. Rooms are built around elevator so felt like I was trying to sleep in a railway station. Asked to move rooms and told this one was specifically away from the elevators. Perhaps staff should try spending some time in the rooms themselves... Also would really appreciate a vegan meal other than burgers.

Great Stay but no follow up.
Great location in downtown. Close to many shops, restaurants! Check in was great and fast. However had to pay for early check in. Staff was more interested on charging me for early check-in, I was never told where my room was located or the elevator to use. Room was nice and clean. Great downtown views. Upon checking out, was asked about my experiance and mentioned my check in experience. They apologized and the gentlemen asked if anything they could do. I said no but I just needed a copy of my folio. The man confirmed my email and said its on its way. I never got the folio email. I needed the folio for my expenses for work. Great location but the service was not great.
