  Horrible! Nasty!!!

  I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this Westin property. I typically expect a high standard from this brand, but the condition of the hotel was far below expectations and more comparable to a budget motel. The cleanliness and maintenance were poor throughout the property. The carpets were torn, walls were heavily scratched and in need of paint, and the chairs in the room were damaged. The pool area was especially concerning — lighting was so dim you could not clearly see the bottom, and used towels were left scattered around with no visible staff attending to the area. I also did not observe any noticeable security presence during my stay. The on-site Starbucks was also problematic. I ordered a plain coffee twice, and both times it had a very unpleasant taste, suggesting the creamer or equipment may not have been fresh or properly maintained. During the night, I was awakened around 2:30 AM by what sounded like multiple gunshots followed by police and ambulance sirens, which felt unsafe and unsettling. Given the condition of the property and lack of visible security measures, this added to the overall concern. Additionally, the hotel charges $65 per day for parking, yet the process to park and retrieve a vehicle took an excessive amount of time. Overall, the property did not match the appearance presented online and did not meet the standards I associate with the Westin brand. I would not recommend staying at this location.

  HORRIBLE HOTEL

  This hotel is riding entirely on its location and view—everything else is unacceptable. The rooms are severely outdated, the furniture is worn and dirty, and the entire property desperately needs a full remodel. What they charge to stay here is outrageous for the condition of this hotel. There were visible stains on the tables, a cracked bathroom mirror barely hanging on the wall, and overall the room felt neglected and unclean. After a 3-hour drive, we went to shower and discovered the drain wouldn’t release any water. I reported it to the front desk and was told an “engineer” would be up to look at it. I specifically asked if he would be using a plunger, and the front desk agent laughed and said she didn’t think so. Ten minutes later, a man showed up with a filthy plunger. After using it, he placed it directly on our room’s carpet with water dripping from it. Absolutely disgusting and completely unprofessional. This place is overpriced, poorly maintained, and unsanitary. Do not waste your money. Stay literally anywhere else. 4 star hotel is comical ! I’ve stayed in 2 star hotels cleaner and more maintained than this dump.

  Poor house keeping

  The bed cover was old and full of lint with dirty stain. I’ve spend a weekend there and house keeping never showed to ask if we need services or clean the room. Not sure why a room for two only comes with one robe. When I asked for another, the evening staff took one hour to bring it

  Oh I so wanted this to be good

  I first stayed here when it opened in the 1970’s as a child. I wanted my visit this time to be magical. The check in was excellent thanks to the staff, the room was excellent and clean. The problem was that on the 47th floor the noise all night from some mechanical device (not lift) kept us awake for most of the night. It was probably the worst nights sleep I have ever had.

  Atlanta Fabulous place to visit, Westin mehh

  1st trip to Atlanta, the Westin has all the amenities one could ask for. If you're a Marriott rewards free internet otherwise not so much. Also, TV quality is poorest I've seen in a decade. They do have an excellent location and notoriety in the area. If I had it to do over, another hotel in the downtown area as this might be perceived as an elite locale however, to me it's underwhelming for the premium price.
