Beautiful property before morning LAS flight

Not sure why this place only has an average of 3.5 stars... we had a great stay here. I was on a Grand Canyon trip with my sister and we were flying in and out of Vegas, but didn't want to stay in Vegas. This was perfect. A beautiful property, very clean, good food and a complimentary drink when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a night before a LAS morning flight. We did not use any of the amenities so I cannot speak to what they offer for guests.

An oasis away from the chaos of Las Vegas Strip

Everything was great! The food quality? Excellent! Room service? Fast and delicious! The staff in the dining area for breakfast were attentive , warm and friendly. I couldn't keep from tipping everyone including the shuttle drivers and the valet staff. With so many dour and sour people these days in hospitality, it was a holiday with in a holiday to have such great food . service and accommodation. Now I know why the KC Chiefs booked the whole resort during Superbowl. Special shout out to their GM- Greg Gooding. He handled a minor blip with speed and assurances. Stay here and avoid the pollution and chaos on the strip. Uber into town was $36 to 56 depending on what you wanted and when you took it. I will definitely be back! Great value for the price.

    20th Anniversary Save

We returned to this hotel after having been married there 20 years ago under the gazebo. My goal was to have dinner under the gazebo where we were married. The brand changed from Hyatt to Westin, so I was curious if it would make a difference. Our plans for dinner were met with the hotel not being staffed up on a Monday, and that was explained to me a couple days before we were expected to arrive, from a wedding coordinator that was "very busy with a big wedding that weekend" . She made no other suggestions including venues off-site or even their own restaurant, Rick's, since their fine dining restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday, our anniversary day. Driving up to the property, now with more mature trees and flora, I had a chip on my shoulder, I will admit, as I am still in hotel sales, having felt the curse of limited staffing in the hospitality industry. After all, this was a life moment to be shared with glee. With a sigh of releif and a big smile, it was all turned around as the front desk staff annonced that they were indeed sorry they could not accomodate our request, offering us a substantial guest room upgrade, food & beverage credit, and a couple of cocktail coupons instead. We enjoyed a great dinner on Sunday night at Rick's, spent some time in the pool and hot tub, stretched out in our suite, and rekindled our relationship with pictures in familiar places. It is still a grand resort regardless of the brand. Well done!

No spa Weston lake Las Vegas not a resort.

First they lie to you in the name. There is no spa. It's been closed for 9 months and there is no date to reopen it. When you do a search on The bonvoy app, from Marriott it will show it as having a spa. It will show it is having a high-speed internet. It will show it as having fantastic updated rooms. None of that is true. They are trying to update the rooms, but the majority of them have old tired bathtubs and furnitures and worn out carpets and are just not very good. There's no spa, you can't find that out through their site until you go to try to book A spa appointment. They consider 14 Mbs High-Speed internet, and you have to pay $5 a night for that. It's worse than a joke. You can't really walk anywhere from here, that's the whole thing about. It's supposed to be quiet and self-contained. Except half the reason you come here more than half of it doesn't exist. I will say the staff is very friendly and nice and do not take it out on them. They're good people. The franchise owners on the other hand are cheap, greedy, horrible people who lie and misrepresent and will do anything to take your money and get you in the door.

    Awesome!

Wow, this place is awesome! If you want a break from the Vegas Strip then drive 40 minutes to the Westin on Lake Las Vegas. Beautiful property, friendly staff and so relaxing. Food was good, pools were nice, and convenient to both Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. Highly recommend!
