So much potential but….
Sitting at the pool. It’s 95 degrees out, spring break and packed. The pool restaurant and bar are closed. Everyone talking and trying to figure out where to get lunch. Beautiful resort with lots of potential. Who is managing this place??

Great hotel just a few inconveniences
If you’re going with young kids make sure you check the pool hours beforehand. The pool closes at 5, the other pool was only open saturday and sundays and the beach was “closed for the season” even though it was 90°. The poolside grill was also closed. You have to ask a lifeguard for pins in order to put up the umbrellas and sometimes they don’t have enough which was annoying. Overall a nice place and the staff inside were always friendly and helpful, just a few things that could make it better!

With a location like this I am disappointed
This could have been a fantastic stay. But we got a dark room at the first floor, worn. The little patio was not usable as the sprinkler was on several times a day (at least two). Besides the insects was too numerous to even try to use the patio when sprinklers were out. The Hotel sits on a beautiful site by the lake and it could have been nice if the upkeep was better. A makeover is in dire need.

Hidden Gem
A great place to stay! Reasonable rates, clean spacious rooms. The Lake Las Vegas area is beautiful. Doesn’t feel like typical Vegas. Think Italy or Spain! The restaurant’s are top notch. Fantastic happy hour at lobby area bar. A great get away. Super dog friendly and healthy options for both food and physical well being.

Several small misses
The good: this is a nice location being on the lake, and has nice views of it with smaller gardens around. The majority of employees there are very friendly and very hard working (front desk, waiters/ waitresses, even maintenance workers). It is nicely decorated, in the Las Vegas style of being a little over the top in some areas ( this is a nice thing!) The not so good: We had no coffee pods in our room, so I called to ask for them. They were very apologetic, but they literally had NO coffee pods in the whole hotel and were working to see what happened. There is complimentary coffee in the lobby carafe. How do you run out of coffee pods, with none in the whole place?? In our bathroom, there was a woman's disposable razor in the shower, and some hairs in the shower as well. There were a couple of stains on the chairs. When we went to check out, the elevator was blocked off because of a "system problem" so we took the stairs with the largest suitcase ever (lol). Again, employees very apologetic and is obvious they are trying to find solutions to things. While location was great, I would consider staying elsewhere in the future.
