Luxury hotel experience in a quiet part of town
Originally had booked a reservation through a third party app for some reason it didn’t go through. The front desk staff were excellent, in working with the third party app to resolve and to find me a room. The hotel itself has beautiful architecture and interior design. I was only able to stay an evening. But I’m looking forward to returning.

Zen Time @Westin Lake LV
I've been wanting to stay here for a while, but the reviews were often brutal. We stayed for a weekend in early February and it was so beautiful and quiet. Yes, the place could be a bit more polished and renovated here and there, but we loved it. It felt more like a resort than any property on the Strip! Staff was nice, room was spacious and clean. We had supper and breakfast at Rick's Café, delicious and our evening waitress was great. The scenery and peacefulness around the property is relaxing, just sitting outside on the terrace, reading, having a beverage and chillin' is a complete ''de-stresser''. Firepits at night is a nice touch! Don't expect the color & noise of the Strip here, don't come here for that. This weekend stay away from the Strip before staying on the Strip is a complete package for a dual style LV experience. Would love to return and probably will next year! Recommended! :) Enjoy!

This place is about worn out
We were quite surprised by the hotel, as it seems pretty rundown. There are public area carpets that are very worn down. In the room we were supposedly upgraded to there were a few things didn't even work: TV or the remote; the TV was on when we arrived but couldn't be turned off with the remote and no buttons on the TV itself so it had to be unplugged so we could to sleep (we requested it be fixed the next morning - nothing changed). The mini-fridge wasn't working, the toilet roll holder kept falling off its seat, there was debris under the foot of the bed which we requested be taken care of the next morning but was only scattered around more. We went to breakfast once, but the heating pans didn't have the sterno cans lit so the food was cold. The desk staff was pleasant, but staff in the breakfast restaurant seemed a bit aimless at times. We were supposed to stay seven nights, but gave up after three and went someplace nice.

Once upon a time
It looks like this was once a nice beach and golf resort, but now it looks like Marriott is just milking cash flow. Maintenance is way behind - missing letters on signage, nasty old carpet, and non-functional air conditioning in rooms. It just feels old and sad.

Closed all the restaurants on the property, don't expect to eat here
The rooms are dirty, hotel is extremely dated, and the spa is closed indefinitely. The hotel sits way out and the wifi in the public areas is very weak. There is no cell signal in Rick's cafe. I chose the free breakfast instead of the points for my stay; they neglected to tell me that they were closing all of the restaurants for several days during my stay. I am now stranded here without food and will be checking out and going to another hotel as soon as possible so that I can eat.
