Must do better
The Westin harbour has always been our go-to hotel in Toronto for location and amenities. We booked our corner jr suite a year ago for attending the Taylor Swift concert. Our daughter booked the same room, several floors down. She experienced the same problems. First, there is a renovation going on. Our room had just been redone. The room next door was in progress. Supposedly 7:30 - 5, our neighbor room was worked on before and after allocated time. The room was nicely redone, but seems not quite finished. No hot water was a major issue. Barely tepid. Talked to the front desk and they did send engineers up to our and the daughter’s room, same issue, promptly. Evidently the thermostat in both rooms were not set for actual occupancy. The problem was 75% solved, the next morning, cold water again, seemingly due to others using? Unacceptable for a room that costs almost 1k/night. Also ice was unavailable. Not on several floors above or below. Called the service desk and was rudely told to put my ice bucket outside the door, someone will fill it. An hour later, no ice. I found a very nice cleaner on the floor who was able to get me ice with a direct call. It was such a disappointment to have such poor service/situations for a stay that was not budget. Please do better.

NIce stay
Great Stay. The hotel has amazing views of Lake Ontario (be sure to get a room on that side). Staff at the hotel were accommodating. The hotel is being totally renovated. The East tower is closed. The North tower is still a bit dated with bathrooms etc but comfortable. Stone throws away from walking along the lake. About 15-minute walk to the biz district or St. Lawrence market. It was my first stay, and I'd come back especially with new rooms.

Could have done better but not bad
Refurbished room was comfortable and had a fantastic view over Lake Ontario. Problems with TV apparently not working and also the iron, which my husband needed to get the creases out of his shirts. Otherwise, check in was efficient, staff all friendly and helpful. Great position near the harbour and close to an entrance onto the PATH

The horrible castle
Run down rooms and way overpriced restaurant defines the horrible castle! . This place is too big. There’s no personal service and you’re treated terribly because they rely on huge conventions so the individual is lost. The food was terrible and the elevators were not working for hours at a time. Go anywhere else.

Great experience
Thank you for a wonderful experience; we enjoyed our two-night stay. Thank you so much to Mr. Paulo Vitancur for assisting us with our itinerary during our time in Toronto. Thank you so much; we will definitely come back. God bless to all the staff.
