    Bad stays

I stayed Wednesday night as a Platinum Lifetime member on short notice for business. I used to love coming to this hotel not only for business but with my friends as a get away. The only person who was friendly, courteous and professional were the valets. The front desk at a premium rate checked me in , never acknowledged my status, did not explain the ridiculous “amenity” fees you are now charging for no actual amenities, never asked wether I wanted points or anything else and then placed me in a room overlooking a construction site versus the Mountain View with contractors above that I listened to all the next morning trying to fix blinds? If there is construction in a hotel people should be notified. I returned Friday night for a scheduled stay with clients and it wasn’t much better. After receiving multiple emails for upgrades etc I asked the front desk to not place me on a construction area and not facing the construction site he stated “ but your a regular guest” in front of my client. 877 nights I’ve stayed with Marriott. I’ve designed 5 Marriott hotel owners residences. I gently reminded him I’m a lifetime Platinum member and the hotel had sent me notices for upgrades. I also asked him about potentially extending my clients room due to the snowstorm. He stated he doubted he could do that without moving their room . Funny this morning there were plenty of rooms. In addition the room he checked me into this morning had one coffee pod, no sweetener, no creamer. I called the front desk at 6:15 asking for the above and he informed me they were too busy to bring it up and they didn’t have coffee till 7am. I took the elevator down as I was going to go to Starbucks and the guy at the front desk was making himself coffee off the cart that he had stated wasn’t open till 7:00. I asked him for the pods and he stated I had to wait till 7:00 and he would send them up. They never came. I cancelled my reservation for this evening and drove back to the mountains it just wasn’t worth whatever it would have cost. It was extremely disappointing to have the hotel get so expensive with amenities and ridiculous car fees that wouldn’t be so bad if the service and hotel cleanliness and construction and attitudes weren’t so bad. I don’t usually rate these but this one deserved it. Regards

    Hidden Costs

Will charge you an extra $30 when you get there for no reason, undisclosed and nothing you can do about it. Overall was very average but with hidden fees and confusing billing made it seem like they were squeezing you for every last dollar, came of very scammy and not genuine at all. I recommend just going to a different place. Will not be back.

    Great Hotel in Denver/Cherry Creek!

Great hotel! Everyone was very friendly and the food was great! Great staff all around! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need to be in this area. Lots of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance of the hotel! Great Job!

    Won't stay there anymore!

Have stayed here a few times in the past few months. While it's a beautiful building, we've had problems every visit that one doesn't expect. First time the HVAC wasn't working properly in our room (had to move). Second time the TV wasn't working properly. This most recent visit now demands a $30/facilty charge. Would be credited to the account if one dined at the restaurant. However the restaurant was closed for a remodel. None of this was revealed on the website before booking or arriving. Won't stay there again. Plenty of other great options in the area and we are in Cherry Creek regularly! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Pick this hotel for a memorable stay!

My son and I stayed at this hotel New Year’s eve and the first few days of January 2025. Beautiful hotel! Very clean, large rooms, well appointed, comfortable beds, lush towels and linens. The staff was very present, warm and attentive. The on site restaurant and bar was wonderful! Meals were very good, especially breakfast!! Highly recommend this hotel!!
