Horrible - fees and noise
Put in for an upgrade and instead was given a room NEXT to the weight room. Beginning at 4 AM people were dropping weights and we couldn’t sleep. When I went down and inquired about the location, they said there wasn’t any noise. The toilet seat also wasn’t attached to the toilet. Very annoying. We ended up leaving extremely early as it was impossible to sleep with the noise. Forgot to mention - my “upgrade” got me the room for hearing impaired… On top of that, they charge a new $30 resort fee and a mandatory $30 restaurant fee… we didn’t want to use the restaurant so I inquired on using it for other things and that wasn’t allowed. They showed me a picture stating that it’s mandatory now at Marriotts in urban areas. All together - a 15 year loyal Marriott traveler and will be switching to Hilton.

Good stay
The Hotel location. and “walk ability” in Cherry Creek is great. There is much construction that the hotel has no control over and starts early in the morning. So the morning was noisy It’s a nice hotel, good location with thoughtful details.

Gorgeous Hotel
Gorgeous hotel and rooms! Will come back in the summer to enjoy rooftop! Yummy dirty martini at downstairs bar! Staff was very friendly - Valet was quick and easy to use in the app/QR code- 30$ food and beverage credit upon check in was an added bonus! Thanks Marriott ❤️

Good but management needs to pay attention
Staff was amazing. Location is very good. Common areas way above average. Bar and restaurant above average. Some evidence that room and floor facilities are a bit tired. Water filling locations- some out of order. One shade on big window not operable. Wi-Fi in the room very spotty. Otherwise, room and bed were very comfortable. Coffee service in lobby very nice and appreciated. I would go back, but I wouldn’t gush over it.

Underwhelmed- not worth the hype
My husband and I were very much looking forward to a night away while our house is going through a renovation. We picked this hotel based on the location and great reviews and were very disappointed with our stay. Check in was a bit chaotic although they weren’t busy at all. No explanation of the $30 resort fee or anything that the hotel offers even though we said it was our first visit. When we headed out to dinner we asked again what was included in the resort fee and was told we could use the $30 for a food or beverage credit at their restaurant/bar. That’s not too bad, but the Clio right down the street included that plus tickets to the Botanical Garden and local transportation when we stayed there a few months ago. Seems like better value for these fake resort fees. The worst parts were the lack of sleep we had. The fridge next to the bed kept running and was very loud all night. Being woken up on a Saturday at 7:30 due to major construction across the street was the kicker. Nowhere on the hotel website or app or during check in did they mention this. Had they done that we would’ve stayed down the street at the Clio again. When we checked out we politely mentioned the lack of sleep due to the fridge and construction and the front desk agent looked at us and literally could care less. No apology or anything. The highlight was the breakfast. I had the tacos and my husband had the eggs and bacon. The tacos were fantastic and the server was very polite and hospitable. The valets also had great customer service. My husband and I are both Ambassadors with Marriott and normally love the Autograph Collection. This is the worst one we’ve stayed at anywhere in the world.
