Room with a view
The view from our room was awful. We paid 550 plus resort fees plus parking when we complained we were told we could go elsewhere. The pool was way too small for the property. People would reserve chairs in early morning with their belongings. The beach was about a quarter of mile away with a 45 dollar per day for chair and umbrella rental fee

Not worth the $
I wouldn't recommend anyone goes here based on the price point. My family and I spent two nights here for Spring Training. We booked this hotel because the photos were beautiful and as a "resort" at this level of cost, I was convinced we were going to have a luxurious stay. The room was very clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. However, that's the end of it. The lobby was a trade convention during the day and a frat-party at night. The hallway rugs are stained. The room was sold as a 5 person, but there is only beds for 4. We paid for a roll-away for the 5th bed. And even though we asked for it to be in the room before arrival, it did not come until 45 minutes after check in: at 1:45 AM. The wifi was impossible to connect to: despite calling the IT desk several times. The food-in the restaurant was sub-par. I walked around the property twice trying to find the "other pool" as what I saw was not like the photos. The website says they don't charge resort fees but then you are given your resort fee bill and what is included. If the hotel was half the price I wouldn't be complaining. But this isn't a resort. This is a motel pretending to be more than it is.

Great dinner and waiter experience
We had a wonderful dinner together to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Nate was an awesome waiter and made sure we had a good time. He did a good job helping us pick menu items based on our questions and I would recommend the restaurant and Nate to any guests that were visiting.

Very Noisy in the Room
This resort has some positives and one very big negative. My suite was big and had an amazing view. I appreciated the beach access. I ordered room service and it was fantastic. The pool is way too small for the crowds and the resort isn’t very big overall. The lobby and conference areas were crowded all the time. Didn’t really have a family resort feel, Now for the big negative - you can literally hear everything that is happening in the rooms next to yours. This includes talking, snoring, toilet flushing, the TV, everything. I had read this was an issue but after experiencing it myself I could not believe it. As part of this trip I stayed at the JW Marriott Clearwater and it was SO much nicer overall. More classy, much more roomy overall, and even on a crowded weekend it was silent in my room at night. I slept so much better at the JW.

Very Noisy Hotel
I agree with others about the noise. I checked in today and am Titanium Elite and was upgraded which was appreciated and given breakfast vouchers. I am here for a conference and the man at the front desk was so pleasant, welcoming and kind! I love my room but I have a connecting room and can hear everything from the next room. People are talking and laughing loudly at midnight and I can hear every word from the far other side of my room. It is interesting to me that such a nice hotel has such thin walls. If you are a light sleeper you should for sure stay elsewhere. Fortunately I read the reviews and brought my ear plugs but I wish it was quieter
