Worst customer service experience
Stay could’ve been nice, except for the fact I was charged a late check out fee even after providing proof of being off property by proper checkout time. A fee that was even more than the rate I paid for one night. Claimed I was still in my room after 6pm when we had checked out two hours prior to the 2pm late checkout that I was offered as a Gold Elite member. Staff and management both refused to get back to me after multiple phone calls and emails, would leave me on endless holds until it “shockingly” would hang up. For WEEKS. Thankfully I have an amazing bank that acknowledged my proof of not being anywhere near the hotel after my check out time, and was able to get back the fee that was charged after months of fighting for it. There are plenty of nice, friendlier, and more accommodating hotels that you can choose from in the area. The amount of times I was put on hold and left there until it hung up was infuriating. If you stay here, hopefully they calculate your bill correctly! Otherwise, I hope you have plenty of proof to send to your bank to dispute the issue, because this property won’t bat an eyelash over stealing your money.

Always a pleasure, but new appreciation and gratitude.
I use this location a few times a year for convenience with early flights. In September I had a medical emergency that put me in and out of centinela hospital, located near by. I was in a very confused and precarious, weakened state. I won't go into detail, but two people in particular, Michael the manager, and a front desk worker named Angelica went above and beyond to make sure everything went safe and smooth for me. They didn't have to do it, but they did. What they did was just so impressive on both a professional and humanitarian level. I can't rate this location, and the staff, particularly those two--- any higher.

Waited, and waited for the shuttle.
We had a short flight from SLO, Ca but the flight was very delayed however the pilot was great and made up time in the air. Got our luggage quickly and then tried to make it through the major crowed exit .. what a zoo. I haven’t seen so many people inside or outside.. we made it to the curb to wait for the Sheraton Shuttle as other shuttles from Westin, Marriott, HI drove by numerous time when the Sheraton came, stopped and said they were full leaving us with one other couple. Going on an hour another Sheraton came and the driver was apologetic and could only take 2. Again left, but in about 8 minutes that shuttle bus came back and right up to us and apologized for leaving us before and made sure to come back.. such a nice man. He helped us with our heavy suit cases and he was just so nice. As it turned out The hotel was less than a mile but no way we could shlep those suitcases. I want to thank Mr Bert for saving the night. Kudos Bert one of the shuttle drivers and our hero of the season. Check in was busy but efficient.Room was nice and roomy plenty of charging plugs and comfy bed. Went for a snack and drink down stairs and Mr Edwardo was a great waiter.. we got a late checkout and all was good. EXCEPT the maid tried to get into our room at 8am. No sign was available to put out so sheWoke us

Sheraton Gateway is the best
I have stayed here many times. And it’s always been great! Esmeralda always takes care of me when I check in When in LAX I only choose the Sheridan Gateway. The guys out at the valet area always take care of me when I check in. My choice for accommodations near LAX will always be the Sheraton Gateway

The reception is modern But when you to your level It looks like a old office of an east european office Our room was really sober and the carpet was worn out Incredible for 200 dollars And the bathroom wasn’t clean What a mistake to take a room at Sheraton
