  Comfortable, clean, and with a great view

  The hotel is quite comfortable and pleasant. The beds are comfortable, the cleanliness was very good throughout the stay, and the view is a nice plus that you can really enjoy. Overall, the experience was positive. As a suggestion for improvement, it would be great to expand the variety of the buffet. Other than that, it’s a very good option and I would stay here again without any issue.

  Large, clean rooms, close to LAX airport

  I was pleasantly surprised by how large the room was. King size bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean and nicely furnished. Bathroom was nice too. We had a light dinner (the club sandwich with fries) at the restaurant downstairs in the lobby and it was actually really good. We had coffee and a breakfast sandwich at the coffee shop in the lobby which was good too. Shuttle from LAX airport is free, but we waited for over 30 minutes for it to show up. You could walk it if you wanted, but you'd have to cross some pretty busy streets. Only downside here is the airplane noise, you can definitely hear the planes when they're taking off and LAX has several flights leaving for Asia in the late evening hours. Service was fine checking in and out, not particularly welcoming, but quick and efficient. I would definitely stay here again though, it's a very nice hotel if you're looking for something clean and comfortable close to the airport.

  Good airport hotel

  Hotel is nice a little worn but rooms are clearly renovated. We arrived super early and our room was not quite available but put on a priority cleaning list by Claudia G. our fantastic front desk person. This was amazing news after a 14 hour flight. Shuttle was quick and efficient every 15 minutes. We had dinner in the restaurant/bar. Fantastic burger and service with our server Kevin. Fairly reasonable prices in the restaurant for a hotel.

  Another good stay!

  Another good experience at Sheraton Gateway LA. Unfortunately, I was unable to take advantage of the amenities at this hotel. This was another quick overnight stay to handle some family business. However, I must say, I have been impressed by the cleanliness of this large hotel. From the lobby to the elevators all the way in and through the room, everything has been clean, fresh, etc. This is always huge for me wherever I stay. The location is perfect for those needing a place to stay near the airport. I mean, you can't get any closer to LAX than this hotel. Standard King room this time around. I would have loved to have gotten the larger king room with the sofa. Next time! The hotel was pretty full this time. I'm not sure what event(s) brought the crowds, but definitely busier than my last stay. I mention that because our room was near the elevator and someone decided to talk EXTRA LOUD, late that night, right outside the elevators. Aside from that noise, and the airplanes taking off, the hotel was pretty quiet. Hopefully my next review will include details about the restaurant, pool, and workout rooms. Definitely recommend this hotel.
