Do not recommend… the breakfast lady was really nice to us and everyone. Five stars to her and the checking lady!!
I just checked out from our stay at Sheraton Dallas Hotel by the Galleria, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. Check-in was actually the highlight of the stay. The front desk associate was pleasant, signed me up for the rewards program, and even waived the $19 additional parking fee. I also called down to request milk for my toddler, and although the phone seemed to be having issues, the staff member called me back and had the milk ($4.33 for 2 little cartons) ready for pickup at the front desk that same evening, which I appreciated. However, the rest of the stay fell short. The bathtub in our room was clogged, forcing us to rush our showers while standing in pooled water. For a hotel of this caliber, that’s simply unacceptable. The room itself felt very outdated and in need of renovation. The most uncomfortable experience happened at breakfast. While I was with my family getting food, a man wearing a maroon shirt abruptly approached us and, without greeting us, demanded our room number. I didn’t notice him questioning anyone else. After we sat down at a table that had no signage indicating it was unavailable, I briefly stepped away to grab some toast. During that time, he told my family they needed to move. The interaction felt rude, disrespectful, and unnecessary. The food was mediocre at best, and check-out was equally underwhelming…no smile, no warmth, just a cold and transactional process. Aside from the helpful check-in associate and the prompt assistance with the milk request, the maintenance issues, outdated rooms, poor breakfast service, and unfriendly check-out left a negative impression. Unfortunately, I would not return.

Amazing stay!!!
Y’all don’t sleep on this Sheraton if you are in the Dallas area this is a place to stay. All the staff that we met were super nice. The place was very clean. You constantly saw people cleaning. The breakfast is amazing. The front desk lady was so friendly one of the best hotel states we have had in a long time

Tired Hotel that is not helping the Sheraton brand at all
Short: This hotel is priced below average in it's "class" because it is below average in it's class. It's as if they are trying to just keep the lights on long enough for a major upgrade some day. The good: Good location. The price - can get good deals especially 3rd party. The pillows are ok, the bedding is medium grade Marriott. But the rooms are a bit worn down, the staff is apathetic. Lots of broken things. All of the ice machines on floors are broken except two levels, and no signs placed to tell you this and guest services refuse to deliver you ice. The club lounge experience: Sad. The espresso machine - out of order. They offer some drinks but you can't see them, they're too lazy to bring them out. The lounge food is a 2-hour happy hour (not on Saturdays) that's basically some cheese cubes and crackers and some sadly prepared fruit. The lighting in the rooms are harsh fluorescent/white. The TV has a 4-5 second audio delay to the video so it's hard to watch. The AC are old-school outside wall connected units that are not quiet. Just all around dated/old/tired. The hallways do not seem to be air conditioned as they are very warm and muggy. I'd rather stay in a well run 3 star than this so-called 4-star hotel, but you can get a good deal on the rate.

Problem fixed - hotel better than fine
I've stayed in this hotel on business a few times a year for the last 4 or 5 years. I'm going to start here with praise fir how they handled an issue - no hot water in the sink. Strange as the shower heated up right away and remained so the entire time I was in it. As I discovered the problem about the time I was getting ready for bed I didn't ask to fix it until the morning. It was fixed within 30 minutes. Not totally as the water was warmer but not anything like hot. By that afternoon it was back to cold. Called the desk and they sent someone up who "fixed it" by letting the water run for 10 minutes until it became luke warm. he told me the problem is chronic on the higher floors. I was on 14. Next morning I went to the front desk agent who was also qui=te less than surprised and immediately offered to compensate me with points or $$. The next day a generous amount of points was deposited into my Bonvoy account. Problems happen. Well run businesses show sincerity when they apologize by giving you $$ or etc. I was impressed that they did that promptly and generously. In general it's a good choice for a couple nights on business. And has a very nice gym. I will continue to stay there when Im in town.

Massive elevator issues
A few good things (decent buffet breakfast with a small club lounge as well, open lobby with good seating, good bar and bar service) but an incredibly broken elevator service. Unfortunately soccer teams were staying there (and a dog convention) and there is no getting around the difficulty in the elevator issue for all those folks. Waiting for a Monday just made it hard. We were happy enough to take the stairs but it sure looked like lots of folks struggled. Many of the reviews about location and noise are spot on as well. Plenty of other good options nearby.
