5 star experience, but at these prices it better be.
Everything is perfect at this resort. Rooms are super clean. Mattress is comfortable. Nice, long comfortable feather pillows -4 of them on the king bed. Plenty of towels. A/C runs quiet, doesn't blow on the bed, and the temperature is easy to adjust and self-explanatory. There's a small fridge, bottles of water replenished daily. Nice balcony with sitting area. Pool area open to 10:30 (or 11PM?), 1 cold, 1 heated with swim up bar, 1 hot tub. Nice sandy beach right on the property. The water in February was even warmer than the heated pool. Waves were strong, but that's part of the fun. Though I heard the current can be dangerous. Elevators are incredibly fast. There was always one available and it took me to and from the 18th floor in no time. Breakfast was a good spread, complete with Puerto Rican specialties and more gourmet items like lox. Not sure if it's worth the $40 though. Only thing is the price. Fortunately a company paid my stay, but it comes out to like $500 per night for the time I was there. On my own, I'd probably choose something a little bit less exorbitant. But even at decent places, there are usually little issues -whether it's bed comfort, shower pressure, whatever. It was nice to stay in a place where there were none at all.

Great beach hotel with a lively environment
My family visited the week after New Years, so it was a bit busy but we likely missed the biggest crowds in previous weeks. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is on a stretch of Condado Beach and we had ocean view rooms with patios in the smaller cabana part of the hotel. Our fifth floor view was just high enough to see over the palm trees, but the pool bar noise was audible (recommend a room no lower than floor 5). The rooms were modern, but had a bit of wear and the shower was long but on the thin side. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel staff at the beach were attentive in setting up loungers, providing towels, and serving food and drinks. Arrive to the beach early to get a front row or you'll have to view the ocean around people in front. The pool area was spacious, but again, arrive early to get the prime lounge chairs. I had two critiques of the hotel: the restaurants are pricey (not unexpected) and the atmosphere was a bit clubby. Fortunately, there are a numerous quality restaurants nearby that offer a better value and we could escape the pool's noisy club music and lively swim-up bar by sitting on the beach (although they took back all the beach loungers at 5 p.m.). The water was lovely, but beware the heavy currents and listen to the beach lifeguards. We were not interested in the casino, which was right off the lobby. The airport and Old San Juan were a short rideshare away, so the location was convenient. If we visit Puerto Rico again for a relaxing trip, we'll probably stay at a hotel/resort a little farther away to get a more quiet setting.

Great spring vacation getaway!
Spent six days with my husband and my youngest (13 year old) son here. We splurged on an oceanfront room with balcony which was very nice. Price was quite high for what it was, but used points I had accumulated on a credit card, and we were okay with it as we do not get away often. Hotel was very clean, and we enjoyed the pool area and the beach. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Angelina from the front desk was fantastic and helped to rectify a situation we had with our booking. We were supposed to have a cabana for a day in our package (we had booked a black Friday deal through Jet Blue Vacations). There was nothing noted in our reservation, but since I luckily had a screenshot on my phone from when I booked the trip, Angelina was able to speak to a manager, and it was honored. In addition, we were comped a free full buffet breakfast the following morning for the inconvenience. This was super nice and the breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed another breakfast and several other meals which were all very good on site and we loved the walkability to other area restaurants and shops. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!
Just returned from our stay at the Marriott Stellaris in San Juan. We go every January and stay here for it is in the perfect spot for dining, walkability and exceptional service. Room was nice with a balcony overlooking the ocean which also has a fridge and safe. Room service was exceptional and provided by I believe her name to be Jannith. Hope that is correct as our room was always done before lunch and was spotless. Lots of restaurants right out the front door as well as several on site. Fernando at the pool area remembered us from times past and he is just a great friendly guy as well as Delia who also works in the pool area. She greeted us with a smile and also remembered us from past visits. Highly recommend the Marriott Stellaris.

Excellent Place to Stay
Hotel is in a great location on a lovely beach. Service is outstanding by everyone. Maria Bosa at the bar made custom, per our request, drinks. She clearly enjoys her job. Room are a bit spartan, but clean. Housekeeping does a good job of being there when you want them. Although it is a big convention hotel it never feels crowded. There is plenty of space on the beach and enough chairs around the pool. Breakfast is ample and only had a short wait. Weekends are hopping with a band and an active casino. Other than the breakfast There are no other real restaurants. Everything is centered around the lobby, with a sushi stand, a huge bar and a takeout restaurant. I think you can order food at the bar. The only downside was check-in. Rooms are supposed to be ready by 4, but we ended up waiting for three hours until 5. On the other hand I'm Titanium and they upgraded me to a corner, high floor room with two balconies and great views. Room could have used two chairs for two people. Seemed kind of empty. They also provided balloons, wine and a snack for my birthday. Note, use Ubers. Taxis are more than double the price.
- AdvisoryThe following mandatory hotel-imposed fees are charged and collected by the hotel either at check-in or check-out. Resort fee: $65 (Plus Taxes) per room, per night Mandatory hotel-imposed fees may not include tax and are subject to change, this is an estimate of what you will be charged. - AdvisoryThe hotel has completed the lobby and front desk remodel. Lobby looks fantastic, much more space and a more personalized front desk.
- AdvisoryThe renovation at the resort has now been completed, which unveils a stunning new chapter for this iconic destination. With refreshed rooms, reimagined spaces, and an infusion of modern elegance, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to elevate the guest experience. Whether you’re savoring sunset views by the pool or unwinding in the sleek, stylish interiors, the Resort is ready to welcome you to a renewed paradise where comfort and beauty meet the spirit of Puerto Rico.
