One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had…

From check-in to check-out, my whole experience was incredible. The front desk staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Sabina took the extra time and care to make some great local restaurant recommendations. I had just had such a rough week, having been mugged after arriving into SF, and decided to treat myself to the Marriott Marquis. I typically avoid chain hotels in favor of boutique ones, but the extremely accommodating and kind natured staff turned me into a lifer. I just signed up for the Bonvoy program and plan on staying on Marriotts much more often now. Also, the room was clean, had all the up-to-date amenities I desired, a beautiful view, and the bar on the 39th floor also has stunning views. I definitely plan on staying here again.

    Amazing personal service

My stay here for business was exceptional. The facility was great, all of the staff made the experience memorable. Susanna the front desk agent on 4 Nov 24 went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued member of the Marriott family. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Please consider her for a raise and a promotion. She is the embodiment of customer service.

Beautiful Hotel - EXTREMELY Noisy Room Throughout the Night…

The Marriott Marquis is a beautiful hotel with elegant rooms, offering a true upscale experience in the heart of San Francisco. The rooms are well-designed and comfortable; however, my room faced 4th street rooftops, which made it surprisingly noisy throughout the night (HVAC Unit Noises?) and detracted the otherwise peaceful stay. Additionally, parking is extremely pricey ($92+ per night!) and valet only, adding to the overall high cost of staying here. Parking across the street was available at $56 per night—still pricey, but a better option. While the location is central, it’s worth noting the noticeable presence of homelessness in the surrounding area. For a luxury hotel, these factors make the steep price hard to justify, leading to a less-than-ideal experience. Be prepared for extra expenses and consider requesting a quieter room facing a different direction which may better the experience.

    Excellent in every aspect

Best experience, in every aspect. From the amazing customer service at the Front Desk with Sabina, to check-out, everything was great. Sabina was friendly, professional and helpful. As an elite Bonvoy member, I was upgraded to a large corner room with a great view. The room was one of the largest I've stayed at in SF. Well equipped and well maintained. And, plenty of electrical plugs to charge all of my electronics. Be sure to use your $30 food and beverage credit each day. It's even good at the market in the lobby. If I had to nitpick, the water pressure in the shower was light. Besides that, I've found my new favorite hotel in SF. Stay here!

No hot water bath (only lukewarm) and water flow terribly weak

Everything ok - plain & simple. No complimentary bottled water and no slippers. Horrible thing ; water in shower place is only warm and water flow is really weak. Just wondering how I could come to this hotel in winter. I don’t feel warm and relaxing after the bath even though I turn it to HOT. Can’t wash my hair under the shower as it will take ages to rinse my hair and I feel cold during the shower. It’s only the first night of my 5-night stay. Hope the hotel will do something to my stay better and enjoyable in the coming days.
