  Perfect San Francisco Visit

  Let me see, where to begin — I just returned from a wonderful trip to San Francisco and an amazing stay at the Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf. I can’t say enough about how pleased and appreciative I am of the manager, Willy Quijano. Before my visit, I had written him to tell him I was coming and that I was a Bonvoy titanium elite member. Willy was welcoming, professional, and generous. He treated me like a truly valued guest. I’m so grateful — he and his staff left me with such a warm and lasting impression. Everything about my stay exceeded expectations. Robert, who checked me in; Grace, who kindly gave me my box of chocolates every morning and checked me out with patience; the housekeeping team; and the restaurant staff — all were exceptional. I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat. The property was clean, comfortable and at a convenient location. My trip was perfect thanks to these wonderful people. Once again, thank you to everyone at the Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf for making my stay unforgettable.

  Peaceful Hotel Just a Hop Away from The Pier.

  If you're looking for a lovely, comfortable, and luxurious hotel without the 5 star price, I think this hotel is for you. I had a one-day stop in San Francisco recently and specifically chose this hotel for its location, right by the Pier. It's easy to walk to all of the activities at and near the Pier, yet just far enough away to avoid having to deal with the noises of the people. Every employee that I came across was polite and courteous. I greatly appreciate the kind female employee at the front desk who was able to find me an available room when I had arrived earlier than anticipated. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and peaceful. Check in/out process was seamless.

  Decent base of operations for a San Fran tourist family

  Well located near the things we wanted to see. Nice big room and good facilities. Excellent service. Although it would have been nice to get help with bags but this wasn’t offered. I found the extra $30 per night (destination amenity fee) very confusing. We didn’t eat here.

  Perfect location

  I accompanied my husband on a business trip, and this hotel was perfect. It was clean and comfortable with no problems, and when I accidentally locked my key card in the room, they replaced it for me. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of most of the places I wanted to visit while I was there. I would definitely like to stay there again.

  Avoid - front desk staff are awful

  We had the worst check in experience we have ever had as Bonvoy members. The front desk staff were so incredibly rude and unhelpful. We booked two rooms next to each other, traveling with a family and two children and it seems as though they were going out of our way to make this not happen. We also got a confirmed early checkin but when we arrived, exhausted after a long journey, we were told that the confirmation meant nothing. I would never stay here again. As longstanding Bonvoy members, this is an embarrassment to the Marriott name.
