Staff was Great assisting with emergency issue
Let me first say that the staff at the San Francisco Marriott Fisherman's Wharf was the BEST EVER. Sarah at the front desk was so delightful and helpful with reservations, suggestions for transportation, great dining recommendations in the area, Jasmine for arranging for EMS to come take our granddaughter to the hospital to be checked out, Joshua who helped calm down our granddaughter from being frightened by the situation, the nice man and lady in the restaurant for helping with guest and providing great service to all the dining guest, and Adriano Luna (GUEST CARE MANAGER) of the Courtyard Marriott Fisherman's Wharf. Your team stands out and represents the Marriott expectations to the fullest. I have stayed at this SF Courtyard Marriott Fisherman's Wharf before and that is the reason I selected it for this trip. SERVICE here is awesome over any other great things this hotel offers. The location of the hotel is prime, the beds are very comfortable, the cable car is just one block away, Ghirardelli® Premium Chocolate factory is steps away, there are many restaurants close by, and Pier 39 and all the other attractions are walkable from the hotel. You do not need a car unless you are going to do other attractions around the Bay area. As a Platinum Elite member, I highly recommend this hotel over all others on the Wharf. 10-Star in my opinion. There is another Marriott property close by, but this Marriott property is way above the other hotel.

Love SF
Great location ! Very friendly staff . Excellent customer service from Rachel and Grace A. Always eager to answer questions. Was a huge help with bus service . Loved that we could walk to so many landmarks close by . Walked right out door to catch bus service .Would definitely stay at this location again.

Should have tried something else
The location was good. If you like to walk you can walk less than a mile to a lot of Italian restaurants. It was an easy walk to the wharf. I didn’t like the $35 destination fee charge per night. The room was somewhat noisy since we were close to the street. The towels were skimpy, but the shower was good. I suppose the destination fee charge got us off on the wrong foot plus we had just stayed at a really nice place in Monterey.

I’ll be back.
I had to find accommodation quickly as let down by agent and another hotel nearby.i walked in to the Marriott and was welcomed by friendly staff who sorted me out a room within minutes. Formality over the hotel was clean,AC everywhere, room was very large king plus bed ,bathroom with everything and a well appointed room. The bar was welcoming where breakfast Buffet or dinner can be taken. For where it is a little expensive but very good. I’d go bake again. Thank you Marriott.

Spacious and well located but too expensive given its pretty tired
It’s fine. Clean, spacious, friendly staff, good bed, decent but expensive breakfast. I’ve stayed here for a few days in January during the annual JP Morgan Healthcare conference week. As with everywhere else in San Francisco, prices during this week are through the roof. Over 1100 per night is in sane for this mid range hotel. All hotels do it in SF so I can’t single out the Marriott. But other cities don’t do this during major conventions and it always leaves a bad taste in the mouth. In 2026 I object to paying for Internet access! All in all it’s not terrible and is in a great location near to fisherman’s warf but it’s tired and too expensive
