Lovely Hotel
This hotel is lovely, modern and beautiful. We have diamond club and we are really enjoying the extras that come with the package. The staff have all apart from one or two been friendly and helpful and lets face it we all have an off day. I had a hot stone massage with Ariel today it’s 80 mins of bliss she was amazing and the Spa experience was really nice. After reading all the negative reviews it nearly put me off but Im glad that i never let that stop me coming.

Avoid this place
Had to leave early because of bad experience I had a terrible experience at the Royalton Hotel in Antigua and Barbuda. The property is filthy, with little to no attention paid to cleanliness. The staff were incredibly lazy and showed a consistently bad attitude, making the entire stay unpleasant. On top of that, the food was awful—completely unacceptable for the price and expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Zero stars for this place.

Pirates
— Royalton personnel was not serious, but not rude for the first time of our visit in the nation. — We had experienced the nasty sewerage odor in our entire room and bathroom (especially), hallway also; — We purchased the luxury room, but were given the some simple; — The bungalows are darker, viewing, when you swim in the sea, think, before you book; — The dirty restroom walls we did notice; — The resort’s restaurants are expensive. A. The personnel might not be in mood to see the particular tourists; — May the secretary of Royalton respond my e-mails in the next time for the extension of our stay; — “Late check-out subject to availability”, how to read this correctly?! We, tourists, may have the late checking-out from the hotel anyway?? Or, it depends, whether or not another traveler could be awaiting our room (let them wait in the receptionist’s room, then, just once in the lifetime)??? They, at front desk, alluded to us more with the second question of mine! What the time of departure for the travelers, who do not have the private airplanes, then??! — The JetBlue airline customs for our departure was upstairs at the official ANU airport, don’t be lost (!); — The dumb and little duty-free store in the airport ANU is without any good memorizable magnets for my refrigerator; — Tourist, do your job — be “You are ‘The Tourist’” from the point of view of others: The overall “Atmosphere” must be nice and quiet toward the actual first-time tourists with understanding and respect from the frequent travelers, as it was in my case, without any comments about slate (— «But»??!). In regard with the frequent visitors, that’s what’s made my family and me mad, you are the locals, and pay even more respect not only to the newcomers, and so do to the staff (I don’t believe, at all, you’d have been anyhow better). You shouldn’t take me for granted. Since, all of us are different, “We — World”. Others will be braver. Until the next time! + I had the Room service throughout my eight-days visiting to order the free meals through TV (I liked chicken nuggets, I did not like the fresh fruits); + The Boat Trip to the private beach, to rest for three hours for $ , be careful of the trees’ thorns (!); we had seen the fishes, crabs, some seashells, and the riff + We booked the three-hours-trip to The Devil’s Bridge oceanside and the trip costed for me and my two relatives for $150 + The friendly secretary has extended my stay for one more day for $75 — it was my date of return, in case your forget to book at home, although I sent them a message two weeks in advance, + Wi-Fi is simple, you will need your: Room number (mine was 10804), last name, and e-mail, but in your departure day you will have it partially “Weak connectivity”, and I did count on my T-Mobile carrier Internet (thanks God!), being turned on before my leave to the ANU Int’l Airport for one hour, – it’s a Caribbean island; + In our room, there were good and professional fan and iron with its board; + The empty gym at 6 p.m. and later (upstairs and turn right, I always wrote my full name and room number); + Good bathrobe and slippers; + My family had given EVERY DAY generous $5 tips for the cleaning of our room, as we speak in Russia: “There is naught for free in the world, at all”; + We wished some souvenirs: I was bought a tank shirt for gym, AND PURCHASED 3 magnets for my refrigerator, the expensive store (I thought with some kind envy with a teardrop, “The wife of a president may afford those prices!”); + The free entry lounge in the ANU for us was simple, good, and quiet — the way it must have been, we ordered the Mantil soup, several pirogies, some sandwiches, several cups of apple juice, and tea. Neutral feedback: The border control officer gave us the requisites for the return-trip on the date of the arrival to Antigua And Barbuda (to be filled out on the date of your departure, the officers in the airport ANU do collect, don’t lose that important small loose leaf, don’t forget to fill it in (!)). One week is never, ever, enough, for those prices to be charged from every-body, I’m not a jackpot holder in here. Especially, the very first day of your arrival, when you will, naturally, fall asleep, not spending the time on the beach, thus the eighth day of the departure does not count, at all. Thank you, Antigua!

Very Disappointed!
Our experience at the Royalton Resort fell far short of expectations, leaving us disappointed with many aspects of our stay. Rooms: The rooms we were assigned were not as advertised. They lacked privacy, were not located next to each other as we requested, and one room did not include the two queen beds we had specifically booked. Dining: Securing dinner reservations was a nightmare. Out of five nights we were forced to eat at the buffet for dinner . When we did eat under a reservation , multiple menu items, including top-tier steaks at the steakhouse, were unavailable. This issue persisted throughout the week, with many food or drink items missing daily! Spa & Excursions: We were unable to use the spa discount ( diamond club discount) because we were not informed it could not be applied to a massage on the beach. Additionally, the discount coupon for the catamaran excursion was denied, leaving us feeling misled. Dining Experience: We paid extra for what we expected to be a private dining experience, only to find ourselves seated with another family without prior notice. The food itself was subpar, and the steak served was inedible. Service Issues: • Turn-down service was only provided on two out of our five nights, despite this being a basic expectation. • Beach chairs and cabanas were nearly impossible to secure. We were told that Diamond Club butler service would handle this, but that was not the case. We ended up waking at 6 AM just to reserve chairs. • Traveling with a group of 12, we were rarely able to sit together, managing only two group dinners over the entire stay. Other Frustrations: Items were often out of stock at the buffet, and food and drinks were not replenished in a timely manner. Overall, the lack of organization, communication, and availability of promised amenities made this stay frustrating and unenjoyable. On top of that 75% of the staff was miserable and not helpful. For the price and the expectations we had, this experience was a huge letdown. I cannot recommend this resort based on the issues we encountered.

Great stay in antiqua Royalton
We were hesitant to try after reading some reviews. Staff was wonderful and we did not get diamond club. No problem getting reservations for 4 at any restaurant. The app was perfect. The vibe here was so much better than at the Sandals in Barbados. The vibe team got people involved. Timothy and his brother. The bar team of Estella and Joseph at center bar were wonderful. Jettstarr at the breakfast buffet was so sweet. Pools were wonderful, a quiet pool and a active pool and a smaller volleyball pool. Food was better than sandals. Italian and steak house were outstanding. Even the buffet was good, never ran out of anything. The food truck was great. Perfect weather, classes were great.
