    Beautiful resort but a maintenance issue

    Great trip minus one issue. The food was great, the staff were very nice, the grounds were beautiful. I stayed in room 4331 and there was a screw sticking up out of the bathroom floor where a doorstop was missing and I stepped on it. I sent an email to the resort asking that the screw be removed for safety issues (I'm a building inspector so this is serious to me) and never received a response even though I asked for one. If you stay in this room, watch your step especially when we reaching for a towel on the hook above the tub.

    Ocean Eden – What a Blast!

    We travelled as a group of 10, all experienced travellers and definitely not new to group trips – and Ocean Eden blew our expectations out of the water! The food? Easily some of the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive. We enjoyed amazing meals at the steakhouse, Italian, and Sugar Cane restaurants, and made the most of the beachside jerk shack and the Marketplace buffet, which was always fresh and well-stocked. The only dining experience we could’ve skipped was the teppanyaki – it felt rushed and impersonal. The beach bar and sports bar were top-notch – fast, friendly service with smiles all around. The beach itself was beautiful (pro tip: pack water shoes for full enjoyment), and the rooms were exactly as advertised – comfortable, and just what we needed. But the real standout? The Blue Team. Did they even sleep?! From morning to night, they were on fire – full of energy, smiles, and nonstop fun. The live music by the pool and the evening entertainment added such a great vibe to our stay. As former cruise ship entertainment staff, I know how much it takes to bring that kind of energy week after week – and trust us, not every place pulls it off. But this crew? They crushed it. They deserve a big fat raise! Special shoutout to Billie – the heart and soul of the Blue Team! Your energy, your smile, your “one love” spirit and emcee speaks, the one-handed push-ups, poolside dancing, and epic water aerobics – we saw it all, and we appreciated every second. You made a huge impact on our trip. From your Canadian Vibe Tribe – thank you for the memories, the laughs, and the vibes. This was a trip to remember, and you made it unforgettable. Hugs and love!

    Terrible Customer Service

    I booked Oceans Eden Bay for a girls trip in April 2025 (non refundable room) booked this room 1 year out, however life happens and our girls trip had to be rescheduled until a later date, Since I did book a non refundable room the only changes I could make were to change the dates, that of which I was okay with since we did plan on visiting Jamaica just not during our initial booking date. I’ve been calling as well as emailing the reservations department for 2 weeks now, I continue to get the same woman that stays she would have to speak to her higher up to make changes to our reservation and she would call me back, needless to say I’ve never received a call back, I’m 2 days now before I loose our $4,228 for the 2 rooms we pre purchased. I’ve asked to speak to someone higher up, no one seems to be able or willing to help me, I continue to receive the same line (call hotel reservations, unfortunately I can’t help you) DONT BOOK WITH THEM unless you’re booking refundable rooms!

    Great holiday

    Lovely hotel, very clean and tidy everywhere, room good size and cleaned very well daily. Staff polite and friendly and helpful. Been to sister family hotel next door which is also good. Food very good great selection in the buffet and also has several other restaurants. Definitely return again in the future

    Overall a very nice stay

    I was worried to come here because of the awful reviews… but my experience proves people just like to complain. I’m a female solo traveler who has been all over the world at high end resorts. Is this a 5 star spot? No. But overall I had a very enjoyable stay with some minor annoyances. First, I was asked to upgrade to privilege and told I would get a free massage. The information was incorrect and I was issued a refund. The things that annoyed me about the regular rooms were the old Mr coffee maker and lack of robe and slippers. Not with an upgrade charge, but should be a part of what’s included in a five star resort. I also found it annoying that I was one guest and given two beds. The food has been great..much better than a lot of other all inclusive places I have been to. I went to both buffets for breakfasts, tried the marlin and jerk hut for lunch, and really enjoyed the Italian place and the restaurants on the adults only side for dinners. It’s all inclusive… don’t expect a steakhouse at the Ritz. The service was always friendly and they always asked if I needed anything. I did feel sad for the beach attendant who asked me if I had a snack… but I always have snacks and she was extremely grateful for the rice cakes I gave her. This should be looked at. There were great bands at night..but one night there was a dj I believe and it was way too loud on the fifth floor as I tried to sleep. No issues with anything g working in my room….and I used the gym every day and found it to have everything I could need. Overall my stay was peaceful and lovely…. I never felt unsafe or at risk and the is a priority for me. Ps- the cups are really small to cut back on waste …so bring your own if you don’t want to keep getting up.
