Marriott @ 555 Canal Street gets 5 stars
I stayed at Marriott New Orleans on Canal Street on 3 different occasions and it still does not disappoint. I stayed in the newly renovated towers on the 32nd floor. The view was amazing overlooking the City view directly Canal Street. There was 5 parades (Mardi Gras season) on that day and we was able to view directly from the room. The rooms was clean and comfortable. We also had a hot breakfast buffet. I will stay there again. This Marriott is accessible to everything in surrounding Bourbon and Jackson Square. My only suggestion to the Marriott. Hotels are usually based on double occupancy. For the bathroom, please add more towel hooks. One hook is not enough for 2 people staying in the room.

The Place to Stay
We were in New Orleans for a business trip and stayed at the Marriott on Canal St. It was such a wonderful experience!! The hotel is in a nice part of town that allowed us to explore in between meetings. The room was perfect and the view was beautiful! Staring at the moon dancing off the river and the city lights shining was a perfect end to a very busy day. A very big thank you to the Marriott team who made this such a wonderful experience!!! This is the hotel to stay at when you are in New Orleans!!

Too Loud For Sleep
Located in a prime spot, this hotel offers a top-tier breakfast buffet featuring a standout omelet station and fresh fruit. While the bed was comfortable, the North Tower room layout was awkward—the TV was positioned to the side of the bed, the bathroom felt cramped, and the toiletries were lacking. The dealbreaker, however, was the noise. The hotel hosts events with incredibly loud music, and the soundproofing on the 5th floor is non-existent. I spent my entire Saturday night hearing and feeling every bass note, making sleep impossible. If you value rest, avoid rooms near the ballroom

Girls Trip
My daughter and I stayed here for MLK weekend. As a platinum I was upgraded to a corner suite with an amazing view of the Mississippi River and the French Qiarter. The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed and so much space! The M club was phenomenal and always well stocked with plenty of food, drinks and snacks. The staff was always plentiful to help out with anything needed. This was by far my favorite Marriott stay ever.

A good place to stay in NOLA.
Marriott located in the heart of New Orleans just where French quarter begins. I had a very good service from Maribeth in the front check in/out desk. If you are lucky and she will be the one to assist you, then you will have the best service! I had a very nice room on the 38th floor, clean with a spectacular view.
