Disappointing experience
Soft bed, noisy heater, poor food selection in the m lounge. I prefer the Hilton hotel next door plus the Marriott is more expensive. I only stayed here because I needed a few more nights to maintain my Marriott status. This is an old building that they have tried to dress up.

A little luxury in the heart of Napa
Napa Valley Marriott is within short driving distance of downtown Napa. As a titanium member, I was treated very well! My upgraded room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The gym was well equipped and even had 2 pelotons along with great weight machines. I indulged in a massage while I was there, that was amazing!! The $30 fee is basically refunded when you buy something from there restaurant, and the wine social and M room are great perks!! You should definitely stay here!

Nice hotel in a good location close to wineries!
We didn’t know what to expect after reading all the reviews but we were overall happy with our stay. We got upgraded to a room on the first level that had a sitting area and fire pit near the pool area. We love the daily wine hour and the hotel had so many nice areas to hang out at. The M Club was one of the nicer ones we have seen and they offered a different variety of things. We loved that parking was included and that there were plenty of spaces and never had any issues even though we were there during a busy time. I would highly recommend staying here.

Not Worth the Price
No maid service for two nights of a five night stay. First day, removed the privacy placard at 10am, returned at 4p, no service. We let it go but called the desk to request service when we departed at 9:30am. Returned after 3pm, no service, so we called for towels rather than vacate the room. The coffee bar is understaffed and understocked. The complimentary lobby coffee is OK but no tea or hot water…we paid $4.50 for a teabag. Our relatives in a handicapped room had unworkable WiFi. Rates and prices are very high because it’s Napa, but the quality one expects at that level is substandard. Front desk said they’d give us rewards points for our trouble but that has not appeared on our account.

Do NOT plan your wedding here
I would strongly caution anyone planning a wedding to steer away from this hotel. We had a 75-room block with this hotel, and were initially slated to host two events on property, but did not move forward given the obscene disparity between cost and quality with other options in the area. Before you sign, they will promise the world. As soon as you sign your contract, their default response to everything will be “no” or “let me ask my manager but I expect they will say no”. The sales staff does not have the autonomy to do anything for your event and the management does not have the desire to support you. In our case, we asked about outside catering before signing the room block and were told it would be fine. After we signed, they wanted a $25,000 fee for outside catering. For comparison, we held our wedding celebrations at four separate venues throughout the weekend and their venue fees were $5,000, $9,500, $12,500, and $15,000 for some of the highest rated wineries in Napa. Those were each wineries with views, vineyards, and beautiful atmospheres, as compared to a small hotel with no such scenery. Of course, once they changed to this exorbitant fee for outside catering, we tried their in-house catering to see if the quality would at least commensurate with the significant cost. The quality was so poor and borderline inedible that we unanimously agreed it would be inappropriate to serve to guests. Additionally, their menu was amongst the most expensive of the venues we visited (>$100/pp for a basic menu with limited options and no servers). Given this, we had to organize a last minute change in venues, which was stressful, but fortunately, other venues in the area were much more responsive and accommodating. In our case, we were able to secure an even more scenic area for only a $5,000 venue fee and $70/pp including drinks. They also didn’t try to upcharge us $1,000+ for a simple microphone to do speeches, provided an assistant the day of to help with setup, and the owner even stopped by during the event to make sure everything went well. Even with the additional cost of providing a shuttle service to and from the hotel for this event, it came out to a fraction of the cost of Marriott with significantly higher quality and service. I’ll spare the pieces on how the majority of the correspondence was rude and how every time you visit the desk you’ll likely be waiting in a line of people disputing room charges because Marriott does in fact enforce a hidden non-waivable daily fee and variable room rates. I’ll also spare the part about their very ‘kind’ pre-wedding email threatening to charge $500 per outside food or beverage they find from our party, and $500 if we move any piece of furniture in their storage room. I will also spare the detail about their management recommending that a ‘South of the Border’ menu may be suitable to ‘us people’, after meeting me and my Indian family in-person. We spent just under 2 years planning our wedding, visited Napa three times, and looked at 34 venues in total. Trying to work with the Marriott was our biggest regret, disappointment, and headache. I strongly advise anyone considering them to look elsewhere. You will find much higher quality, lower cost, and more beautiful venues almost anywhere you look. This is the only negative review we have for any of our dozens of venues or vendors from that entire weekend - shop around and choose anywhere else.
