  Great customer service & overall experience

  We had a wonderful experience and it was because of Gaby at the front desk, who checked us in. There was a slight mixup in our reservations, which was our fault. She went above and beyond to fix it. She put us in an awesome room, checked on us to make sure that we were enjoying our stay and sent us a welcome package. She went above and beyond and we really appreciated it!. Thank you Gaby for the outstanding customer service!. Chris and Wendy Ferraro

  Not worthy of Marriott brand

  I'm not sure how this hotel can be rated as a full-service Marriott. At best, I would categorize it as a Courtyard, a run down one at that. It is very dated and needs a renovation. As stated in other reviews, the a/c is only able to be on auto and it woke me up throughout the night by constantly going on and off quite loudly. Then my shower in the morning alternated between scalding hot and ice cold. I had to book a hotel last minute and this was one of the only ones available, but I will definitely not be a returning guest.

  Fabulous Surprise!

  I stayed for three nights in October as part of a girls trip. I have told admit that. Was a little nervous about how nice or not nice the hotel would be. What a great surprise I had! It started with the front desk. I don’t know who owns this particular Marriott, but they are fortunate to have Blossom greeting visitors at the front desk. She was super friendly and gave us great info about the hotel. She truly started our stay in a positive way. Yes, as other reviewers have said, the hotel is a little older. However, I found that the hotel had many updates in terms of the rooms and public spaces. Great pillows in the room, a lovely patio with its own fireplace, a view of a garden with interesting art, Molton Brown bath products. Happily, the M Lounge is open 24 hours per day. Plenty of snacks and drinks. Very nice breakfast. Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations. I’ll return!

  Nice weekend stay

  My husband and I were just in Napa for a wedding and stayed at this hotel for the weekend. Overall we were very pleased. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful when we checked in. We were in a garden view room, which was quiet and comfortable. Yes, the rooms are on the more dated side, as others have said in reviews. But they felt pretty on par for rooms at the standard Marriott brand hotels (regarding some of the other reviews, I think it’s important to remember that this is just one line within the broader Marriott Bonvoy umbrella). The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel grounds were nice and well maintained. We spent a couple hours at the pool, which is nicely designed and relaxing. My one complaint is that the lighting in the rooms isn’t great, particularly in the bathrooms. It was really hard to do makeup while getting ready for a wedding. This could use improvement. Outside of that, we felt like we got what we’d expect from a Marriott line property and would stay here again. Also, I just want to commend the hotel GM for taking the time to respond so thoroughly and attentively to each Trip Advisor review. I write a lot of reviews and this is not the norm.

  AVOID THIS MARRIOTT

  Run down, dirty Marriott. Extremely rude staff on the front desk. Noisy air conditioning in rooms. Dirty bed sheets and towels. If staying in the Napa area, AVOID THIS HOTEL as there are much nicer hotels in better locations. If you are a Marriott regular, then this one will definitely disappoint as it falls far bellow the usual good standards. Director of Operations does not answer calls or respond to voicemails after requesting we reach out to him directly regarding the issues we had. The incidentals deposit which was held by the hotel has still not been given back. The hotel has since taken money from my account without authorisation, explanation or providing a receipt for the transaction.
