Small and uncomfortable- but excellent location
Simply terrible apartment. The bed terrible and very small (I am short and my feet were off the edge). Bathroom was dirty with water damage and the tiles were loose with grout coming loose everywhere. I was there for 9 nights and apartment was only cleaned once!!! Nearly impossible to have a shower as it was so tiny with the shower curtain clinging to you. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall near the window. Staff were unfriendly except for housekeeping who were lovely. Only upside is the location - perfect with the train minutes away.

Quiet, Lovely atmosphere, Easy Access to Trains
A huge thank you to Nicole Belliere who helped set us up in the apartments for 2 weeks. Melia White House was in a fantastic location with easy access to trains and the lovely Regent’s Park just across the street. Highly recommend! Also, enjoyed The Level lounge. Great breakfast!

Disappointed
The key to the apartment unit needs to be reset daily as the card was too sensitive. We need to queue at the reception with the other check in guess to get this done daily. The staff says it’s a normal occurrence and they can’t do anything. How is this a 4 star hotel? The windows are not cleaned hence you won’t get a clear view outside.

A marvellous vacation in London
A really top-class hotel! Very nice rooms, very clean, very careful service, extremely gentle personnel. The cost is absolutely worth the overall permanence, also taking into account how expensive can be hotels in central London. A particular mention must be added for the food. Breakfast was always great. We have spent four days at Melia White House and always we had high quality breakfast. Even better than breakfast was the restaurant. Really unforgettable also thanks to the kindness and professional skills of all the personnel and in particular Manish and Fred. Rino & Rossana

A bit of a nightmare
I am a member of Melia and have stayed recently in the hotel in Spain. I was so amazed by the hotel on holiday and thought I’d give the hotel a go in London. I will say the standard was not as high as abroad. The room was smaller than expected. The hotel was extremely busy for breakfast with rude guests who had no manners or politeness. The lift was shocking as when you pressed the number to go up to your room you’d only get one lift arriving for porters and other guests so I had to wait for more then 5 mins to actually get a lift to my room. The bar area is overly priced, most staff couldn’t understand English so found myself giving up on explaining what flavoured crisps I wanted. Although the hotel is clean, rooms clean, quality hygiene in all areas of the hotel was fantastic there was no justification on the room prices when there is no parking facility that is near by. The parking we did manage to get had charged over £30 pounds for 24 hours. The one in Holiday Inn was fully booked and this was the parking advised by Melia staff on booking. We had a little way to walk to the hotel, on arrival the reception area was busy and you had to wait for a while before being checked in. No local convenient amenities to go and enjoy in the evening. The area at night is unsafe, so you couldn’t go for a stroll and you could hear loud conversations in your room from the outside. I would recommend finding and paying for a car park before arrival . The one we used had been overly booked so when we arrived we had to wait half hour until someone had left their parking space and then this was a tight space for parking and then 8-9 mins walk to your hotel with your luggage and possibly in the heat. We tried Camden market but got a taxi there as it was just over half hour to go by foot.
