This was our 2nd time back to the resort after our honeymoon in 2022. We booked the Level this time, hoping for a better experience and were quite disappointed. We were assigned a concierge upon arrival, and booked all of our dinner reservations the day we arrived. Or so we thought. Our reservations were never booked, and we had to message our concierge every single day to try and get reservations that we had already believed booked. Which lead to us not getting the reservations we were hoping for. To piggy back off of the restaurant booking issues, we were also under the impression that we still had access to the other side of the resort and their restaurants and were sad to learn that was no longer the case. With only 4 restaurants to choose from, there wasn’t much variety. And if you couldn’t get a reservation - the buffet was your only option. On top of that, the food itself wasn’t very great either, which was disappointing. The drinks were okay, but there was a very limited menu. At the lobby bar, I ordered a drink that was on the menu and was told they didn’t have the ingredients and to order something else. In my personal opinion, if you don’t have the ingredients for a drink - don’t put it on the menu. Similarly, I remember the night life being much more vibrant last time, whereas this time around - all of the bars and night life is done by 11pm. I found myself wanting a snack at varying points of the day, and unfortunately had no option for anything outside of the buffet. We went to a Sandals resort in between our first trip to Meliá and our most recent, and there was much more variety and options at the Sandals resort. It’s hard not to compare the two resorts, but in my personal opinion, it’s night and day. We did have a fun time overall and enjoyed ourselves, but we also expected more and were disappointed with much less. I love Punta Cana and the people, but unfortunately after this trip, I don’t think we’ll be returning again.

This was a really fun class with a lot of support from the instructors. They were patient and really fun. Also makes as a really nice souvenir to take back!

Highly recommended resort to disconnect and relax
Jean Geto was amazing as our concierge. Absolutely beautiful resort, great food and drinks and very thoughtful facilities and services for wellness and relaxation such as yoga classes and comfortable private seating areas.

Paradise
Everyone was very nice with us. Really helpful. The bus drivers were totally cheerful. Super experience, it is hard to leave.
