The resort is great, full of nature and peace on one hand and good ambiance on the other hand around the pool and at the bar in the evening. The food is great as well. Overall we had a blast during our stay there. Jean was very kind and helpful as well, many thanks. We fully recommend.

Lots of activities
We really enjoyed our stay. We particularly enjoyed the various activities and the spa. The buffet is so so but the restaurants are excellent. Plenty of lounge chairs by the beach under palm trees for shade if you want.

We had our phone stolen from our room. Management team is awful and lack experience. They could not look us in the eye when they did talk to us. This was our third time here. Food has gone down hill. Bar service also is lacking also.

Not Recommended! Poor services
I would not recommend Meliá Punta Cana. This was one of the most disappointing resort experiences we’ve ever had, we travel 3 or 4 times at year to Punta Cana and have been in few other resort complex. The food variety is poor and repetitive during breakfast and lunch many items that should be included come with extra charges at the bar. Dinner time is better option, also restaurant Quimera was good one. The food at the snack area usually is the leftover from lunch time. You will have to pay for use the bed at the beach, there will be not waitress at the beach to serve you drink because they are only for serve the bed cabanas. There is only 1 shuttle to transfer back and forth everyone from the lobby to the beach, resulting in long waits, overcrowding, and wasted vacation time. Entertainment is non-existent. During the day, there is no animation or activities, and at night there are no shows, just music for people to dance. To make worse, after 11:00 PM there is no food or drinks available, which is boring for an adults-only resort. Definitely we not return this resort.

Maria’s dance class
Maria’s dance class was amazing and so much fun. Highly recommend the experience for couples wanting to connect and learn a few moves.
