Great conference hotel
Excellent conference hotel that accommodated over 2000 for annual event. Hotel was large roomy and plenty of space for networking meetings. Room was excellent, large and very clean. Two double beds and a lovely view of the pool and nearby dessert hills. Gardens are beautiful to admire from the balcony. Bathroom was large with both a bath a separate shower. Breakfast in Mia Carmen restaurant was ok. Food options are limited with short menu. Choice of small continental breakfast or hot buffet. Food quality was excellent. Outdoor seating was a bit dirty from the birds but otherwise ok. Would love to visit with my family for a holiday but fear it will be too hot in the summer. When I stayed it was winter and the weather was glorious. Although for the one time I sat outside to eat it rained for the first time in months! Thanks to the check in staff for providing me with such a nice room with a view. Photos attached.

Paradise experience in Arizona
This was one of the nicest resorts we have ever stayed at and I would classify as a “Hidden Gem”! The resort is basically brand new….not sure where any of the previous reviews are coming from when they say updates are needed. Rooms are pristine and we could not believe the executive suite we were upgraded to. They also provide you the ability to upgrade to the “Griffin” club, which is basically an “All Inclusive” experience for an ample fee. You can also upgrade on points. The pools are absolutely amazing. They are heated and warm. They also have an unbelievable waterpark for kids, which our family absolutely adored. This was the first time we ever stayed at this property and we will definitely be back! We also stayed at the Hilton Tapatio resort for one night to compare, and there is absolutely no comparison! Five out of five stars.

Pool water way too cold
Paid for a Day Pass but unfortunately the water in the “ heated” pool was not heated . All the guests commented on how uncomfortably cold the water was . Very disappointing. It was 83 degrees outside but water way too cold. It seems a really nice resort would pay more attention to a matter affecting so many guests

Lovely Experience!
Great experience! Rooms are beautiful and very clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and customer service oriented. The hotel is very close to shopping and great restaurants. Huge bonus that there is a Starbucks onsite. Would definitely stay here again!

Definitely good for large conferences.
Certainly built for conferences. Long distances to walk from the self park to the reception desk and long winding shabby looking, thickly carpeted hallways to your room. The signage to the elevators and rooms is poor and so is the lighting in the corridors. That’s what sticks in my mind. Check in is 4 pm and the only coffee shop which is Starbucks closes at 5pm. Why? Oh and the electrical plugs in the seating area/ work area just outside the Starbucks do not work.Since few companies are doing the expensive conferences and hugely a waste of money, no matter whose it is, there is a tremendous amount of wasted space in all the areas except the bell captain who is stuck in a corner. Coming to the rooms, I will give the rooms a B and because the lighting is so poor, the furniture is dated, the toilet paper is so thin, you’ll end up using more of it. The day we arrived there was a huge blockage in the pipes in two wings of the hotel, a massive washout had to be done, but it delayed everyone’s checking by about two to three hours, there in comes the question also as to why the coffee shop closes so early. Back to the room, the phone system is old , if you call room service or house keeping you’ll be on a long hold with scratchy, unpleasant music.the Netflix service is iffy, may stop in the middle of programming.🙄. Kembara, the food is good, still would do a reservation since the seating is limited and depending on the time of year, it can get chilly outside on the patio. This hotel needs updating in many ways, the front desk staff are ok but I shout out to Tiffany Ou, who did a great job fixing us up in a room with a better view than the parking area and after the delay and water blockage of the wings earlier in the day. I’m not so sure this hotel stands up to what they charge per night, the parking charges and the daily activity fee. And if you don’t think you’ll play golf, pickle ball, bike riding etc.. it is definitely not worth it. The hotel is situated at the north end of Scotsdale all by itself.
