    Bad

The food is sub par at best and the quality of the place is not good at all. I will say the beach is stunning but other than the location the workers and quality of service is awful. I was sleeping in my room and a RANDOM COUPLE HAD A KEY TO OPEN THE DOOR AND WALKED IN! I mean just ridiculous and not to mention the fact that if you don’t speak Spanish you are treated like an outcast and everybody is a total douche to you.

This is the worst Iberostar hotel I have stayed in.

I am currently (from 22/10 to 04/11/24)staying in room 4230. Among other issues that are not acceptable in a 5 star hotel, I will mention just two of them as an example: 1- two days ago my daughter got an injured foot in the swimming pool, because the tiles are old, some are missing. We looked for help, because her foot was bleeding abondantly. Someone of the first aid staff in the pool (obviously not prepared for the job), put a single band-aid, and gave us 3 band-aid to use laterAnd that was all. No one cared to clean the blood track left on her way from the water to the place where she was attended. The next day, blood was still visible around. 2- A water leak happened on our bathroom 3 days ago, and damaged some medicine packages, a necessaire and other items. In spite of my repeated reports of that issue, the leak was not fixed. We are now on the third day and it goes on. We are checking out tomorrow, and the issue will remain. Is this hotel deserving a 5 star qualification????

Good For An Affordable Low-Key Getaway

THE POSITIVES : Visited for a getaway with my partner. The grounds were clean, well kept, but not noticeably “high end” or upgraded. We had a standard ocean view room, which came with a mini fridge and a small desk and sitting area. Housekeeping was attentive, and came daily as expected. The pools and beach were well maintained. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. There was some level of guest entertainment during the day, but things quieted down pretty early in the evenings, around 5:30. Because this is a couples/family oriented resort, it would have been nice to see some effort made to entertain guests in the evenings, perhaps game nights or something interactive. I ALSO FEEL IT’S VERY IMPORTANT TO MENTION THAT I FELT SAFE AT THE RESORT AT ALL TIMES. It was well lit, security patrolled and the front gates verified entry for guests and staff. THE NOT-SO POSITIVE: The food is PRISON FOOD. Almost no variety on the daily buffet, some things weren’t labeled or recognizable, and most of it was variations of pasta with bland sauce or meat mush. I’ve stayed at dozens of all inclusives over the last few decades, and the food here was by far the worst. The Asian restaurant was decent, but it’s only available on limited evenings during the week. The rest of the time I had to make do with French fries, rice and beans from the buffet. By the third evening, we just started taking taxis into town every night to get something satisfying for dinner. Breakfast was ok, the typical offerings of fruit, toast, sweet breads, etc along with bacon , eggs and sausage. Definitely edible. Overall, if you’re looking for value, a clean, comfortable efficiently run resort , then this is definitely worth your dollar. If you’re more of a foodie, or don’t care to venture off the resort for dining/entertainment this may not be for you.

    Iberostar/Carlos

Carlos with the Iberostar club was attentive and kind, answering questions quickly and knowledgeably and eager to assist us each day! Iberostar was a great experience for our family. We hope to return in the future for certain. So long, Punta Cana!

English is not there language. They were very hard to understand. The hotel ap is not good - nightly entertainment almost non existed . The hotel is beautiful. The pools were great. Food at the smokehouse was the best. Italian restaurant was good. American restaurant, the only indoor restaurant had no ac. The best person was the drink person at the pool - Maria Drinky Drink. She was happy, loved her work and everyone around. Well go back to Punta Cana but will not stay there
