Great Resort! Great Vcacation!
We recently returned from an eight night stay at Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites. We stayed in Building 4 – third floor and had a great view of the resort. All rooms are suites, so they are large and have balconies. This was our 12th visit to this resort over a span of 10 years, so obviously we love this place. We like that it is a compact resort (horseshoe shape) that is very walkable. The infinity pool has a good swim up bar and overlooks a nice beach. Restaurants are located near each other except for the Asian and Steakhouse, but they are easy to get to. Breakfast buffet is amazing. At dinner time the buffet has theme nights – we especially liked Gala night and BBQ Night. We also enjoyed meals at the Italian, Asian and Steakhouse (Aunt Ruby’s) restaurants as well as The Smokehouse (Uncle Tony’s) at the nearby Waves resort. You will also have access to the Japanese restaurant at the Waves Resort. Some people do not care for the beach, due to some seaweed issues. However, it is the ocean, so we expect to see some seaweed and they do a great job of keeping the beautiful beach clean. And the beach is big!! Unlike the Jersey and Maryland beaches, the sand does not get burning hot, so walking along the shore is easy and pleasant. Besides all of the above, what brings us back to Jamaica are the friendships we have made with the staff. From the Bell hops to the housekeeping staff, bartenders to servers, everyone remembers us and greats us like family. So I wanted to name some people to look for when you go: Buffet: Kelisha, Dickeshia, Tiana, Simone, Rodrecka, Raquel, Jimmy (mgr) Nicholas (supervisor), Ryan (omelet guy), Dwight (chef) Pool area: Jamie (server), Dijon (works his butt off keeping the pool clean) Star friends: Ruth, Goody, Stretch, Dwayna Restaurant and bar managers: Victor and Kelecian Bellhops: all of them!!! We also spend time in the Prestige Beach Club with: Kacia, Leroy, Anecia, Chad, Syrene and Johan. And at the Prestige Lounge: Javeena, Laura, Toni-Ann, Brittany, Jevan, Cedric, Leran and Asani. We used RGS Tranfers and Tours for our transportation to and from the airport. Ryna Sinclair and his drivers are the best!!! Can’t wait for our next trip.

What a perfect hotel
Just got back from the hotel after 10days and all I can say is Wow what a hotel. The food is lovely so much choice from a steak house to Asian, Greek,Italian and of course the jerk chicken rice and peas everything we ate was lovely 5 course meal at the Asian surf and turf and lots of lovely jerk. The buffet is great as well evenings they have different nationalitys, breakfast so much choice. The hotel is so clean there is staff cleaning all the time absolutely great the hotel smells clean. The staff are wonderful so welcoming and friendly always smiling and having little jokes totally made our holiday. The amenities were brilliant loved the lazy river bit slow but it's in the name. The pool area was brilliant could always find a sun bed and the water aerobics was fun and helped with the food situation 😀 also you can go into sister hotel to eat drink or watch shows which is next door. The room was really big very good surprise, bed was huge and comfortable. The shows were good something going on all the time if you want it also 24hr coffee shop with lots of snacks. Can't say enough good things about this hotel and the perfect staff they have there we had a wonderful time thankyou all

Iberostar Never Disappoints!
Iberostar never disappoints! The food and drink selections were fabulous. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The Steak and Lobster House was our favorite. The Asian was also very good. The buffets offered a wide variety of food. There was definitely something for everyone! The staff was absolutely amazing. Big shout out to Nellie and Reflex! There were many other great staff members whose names I cannot remember. We saw two shows, and they were both incredible! I definitely recommend this resort!!!!

Our 9th Visit and did not Disappoint us
This is our 10th time at this resort. Our vacation always begins with seeing Eric from Eric's Chillout Tours (876-790-3154). He picks us up at the airport and brings us to our resort. Using him, we beat everyone to the resort, Eric had a cold Red Stripe beer for my wife and me. He also had the good stuff for me. Arriving at the Iberostar Suite is like coming home. When dropped off, we got hugs and big smiles from the valets Dale, and Hyron. I like these guys a lot. I can’t pass them without going to talk and laugh it up with them. A great start to our vacation. My friend at the desk, Orlando Front Desk Manager, was there with a big smile. He also remembered us and was happy to see us. His staff is first rate. We know some of them like Cora, Alwayne, Mathew. Again they always say hi and smile at us. We reserve the same room every year and it is great. It is clean (never saw a bug there ever), large tub, 2 sinks, King size bed and large screen TV. The fridge was always full. The view is alway so beautiful. We like to have the room cleaned in the morning every second day and we did not want any turn down service. The girl who cleaned our room did it great. Her name was Anna Shay. The Iberostar Suite is a very friendly, large, clean and well run resort. The beach was great, calm in the mornings and a little windy in the afternoon. We walked the beach most days. At the beach I talked to my friends, the lifeguards, Norris, Marie and Shac. We liked it at the small pool. It was busy. There were only 3 resorts opened in MOBay because of the hurricane. So this resort was fulll all the time. The reason for the 9 out of 10 rating is found here. The hotel had so many young kids 7 to 15 here (younger than that no problem). The parents let them jump in the pool, throw plastic glasses in the pool, they take the tubes from the lazy river and play in this pool. IT WAS ANNOYING. We never had this problem before because there was never so many kids this age. I wanted to tell the parents to watch their kids but ..... The solution is very easy. A lifeguard should be there. All the older kids (18 to 25) hung out at the large pool. Not my cup of tea. We had great bar service here at the small pool. I loved this spot, nice shade and sun if we wanted. The towel girl Kevian (Goody) was so fun to talk with. I also talked to the friendly pool guy Djon, who has known him for years. I talked to the kid who cleaned around us. 21 years old, so polite. He told us about his side hustle (he had a small farm not like anything we have but I gave the kid 10 out of 10 his name was Loandrew. I liked his spirit from the day we met. The old bartenders are first rate; Staff like Orlando, Odaine, Errol, Doreen (the hardest working waitress on the island), Melissa and the rest ensured our glass (or Bubba) was full. The supervisor, Waylon, always remembered our names and always came over to make sure the drinks and service was first rate. The food is world class. It was prepared and presented like nowhere else I have been. We ate at the buffet every night. We got a special table every night for supper. Staff took out a table when we got there. This allowed us to eat outside. They said if you stay more then 9 times they did this. The island's best Chef’s, Dwight, Trish work here. The hostess and servers always came over, said high, gave hugs, and brought me a cold beer every day for lunch. Year after year we see the same people and it feels like family. With staff like Simone. Damar, Tiana and Baggio always looked after us. The property was spotless and always being cleaned The beach was kept cleaned and raked every day. The entertainment team was also very good with KiKi running things and DJ Ryan playing the tunes. Top 10 entertainment spots we have seen. Many nights we would walk to the beach side and have a drink after supper. Here we saw our old bartender friends Dean, Rosheane, Dshane and Sheen. Even though we stayed at Suites we had a coffee with Jamaican Rum cream every night at Waves. The walk and coffee helped digest our supper. They also had live entertainment some nights from 7 to 9. We also went to Blue Moon bar almost every night. Here they played Jamaican music videos. This is one of the reasons why I go to Jamaica is the music. I don’t like Reggae music. I love it. The DJ’s always played my favourite music. The General Managers Andrea, Celia and Tatiana are running around the resort all the time, yet they he would stop and make sure all was well. The staff from the top down are exceptional. Here the bosses lead from the front. They pick up glasses, throw out garbage. It took many years and many resorts to find this place and we will continue to come back again and again.
