    Great location- limited services

    A beautiful property with excellent location close to Sea World. Only drawback is a limited availability of food and beverage options. Don’t expect a full service Hyatt Regency - especially if traveling with children. What they do offer is well managed. Staff is very friendly.

    Making work more fun.

    Very fun hotel, lots for the kids to do, the pool was warm, the views were pretty. It attaches to the bay, we went and sat on the docks to eat our lunch and enjoy the sea lions and the sun. You get access to kayaks and paddle boards right there with your resort fee. You can rent boats/jet skis as well. Would go back.

    The food let's this resort down.

    This resort is betrayed by its food. I can only imagine how it was before COVID-19, when "hacking" became the rule for hotel food. Some Hyatts have honorably resisted the efforts to optimize revenue at the expense of customers' palates and stomachs. When the "egg" they serve you is a sponge-like substitute cooked in a microwave, and the kid's pizza is inedible (just like the "egg"), it's time to protest and tell the hackers that a Hyatt Regency resort should serve real food. It's also unfair to the hotel's personnel: the lousy quality of the food and the ridiculously high prices make it impossible to leave a tip. The resort is nice, the personnel is excellent, but the "food" is unworthy of a Hyatt. The four stars are for the people (but not for the manager who cuts food costs). And no, there are no food options within walking distance.

    Beautiful hotel and such a value!

    The facility itself is beautiful! Lots of amenities for kids and adults alike! The breakfast with the room is a huge value and the restaurants on site are top notch! All of the staff was helpful and accommodating in every way! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Great stay at the Hyatt Regency Marina

    We loved our stay. The location and views are beautiful, step out and you are walking on the San Diego Bay. It's away from the craziness of downtown SD but a close uber drive (less than 10 minutes) to downtown if . The staff was incredible and accommodating. I look forward to staying again!
