Everything you'd expect from a Hyatt... wont disappoint.
Proximity to waterfront, Pier 39 is a big plus. Easy access to food and entertainment. Neighbourhood is a bit quiet though, compared to North Beach or Chinatown - if you're looking for something to do in the evenings like bars, people watching, or clubbing.

Appalling front desk service
Yes we arrived at 1am, it was a late checkin but unavoidable. We stood at the front desk for 5 minutes before the attendant Arya barked what do you want! With all our bags In tow it was pretty easy to see we wanted to check in. The most appalling customer service we have received so far and no real interest in staying here long term. Asked to speak to a manager but was informed in the same tone. There weren’t any!!! - Dear Managers, we are booked under the name Morrish if you’d like to discuss this further. We are certain you’re not aware of your staff members behaviour and should be.

Great location and hotel
Great customer service and excellent room. Just what we needed after a long flight from Asia. We had an executive suite. TV was Chromecast capable, which is always a plus, WiFi was strong, room is very comfortable. Coffee maker was nice. Slept very good and was well rested for the next long flight across the US.

Great Hyatt hotel in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.
Had a lovely evening in the Fisherman’s Wharf and Embarcadero areas of SF. The Hyatt Centric was a great place to stay, and it’s a lovely modern hotel. Great breakfast buffet and I would not hesitate to stay here again! Comfortable room, very nicely decorated and a great location to explore San Francisco.

Would stay at Fisherman's Wharf Hyatt Centric again
On a whim, I booked a one-night stay at the Fisherman's Wharf Hyatt Centric. I am a Hyatt member, and I have been practically happy with all of their properties, so this was a no-brainer. Upon checking in, I asked Luciano at the front desk if I could change my room from an ADA (which I accidentally booked online) to a regular room. He was very accommodating - he immediately found a standard room with a king bed. My husband and I were very happy. The premises was clean, the location was convenient for where we wanted to go. Before arriving, I did check the price of hotel parking - it was $65. I of course wanted to save a little money, so I booked a parking spot through the Spot Hero app. I was able to park less than 2 blocks away from the hotel for $31! (There are cons to this though - no in-n-out privileges, and you must not leave any belongings visible in your car.)
