Hotel is fine just be aware of the super high Resort Fee!
The hotel was fine, however be aware of the resort fee. They charged me 90 dollars a _night_ as a resort fee. Most of my anger is directed towards where I booked the hotel, which did not display the super high fee(almost double the price of the stay). Buyer beware.

Comfortable hotel with great location
Stayed at this location in October, 2024. Staff, including the valet's were great; valet parking is required with fees but that's to be expected. The room was very quiet considering it's location; shower was slightly small but functional. Overall aesthetic is typical to most chain hotels such as Hyatt or Hilton and the hotel met expectations. Bed didn't have a topsheet, which was a little strange but was overall comfortable. The main draw of this hotel is the location, being within easy walking distance to Fisherman's Warf and Pier 39, but is also very close to the trolley system and bus systems. We spent the days exploring the area and easily accessed both Chinatown and Little Italy (North Beach) and never felt unsafe, spending alot of time walking and riding transit after dark. Would definitely recommend for someone wanting easy access to tourist hotspots.

Worst Customer Service from Hyatt
Great location but I booked through the Hyatt Website using the Members Advance Rates, which meant I had paid for the accommodation for 3 rooms. When I arrived the Lady at the front counter said that I had not paid for one of the rooms. I told her I had and she argued I had not. I made the payment so we could get our rooms and contacted Hyatt by phone. Hyatt confirmed I had paid in full and contacted the front desk and arranged for the money to be refunded. I am still waiting for $137 AUD to be refunded from that transaction. When we checked out another $291 AUD was charged to my Credit Card. I phoned Hyatt another 2 times and they advised both amounts would be refunded but they still havent. I have sent at least 5 Feedback Messages through the Hyatt Website with no response received from Hyatt. I have also emailed the Fishermans Wharf location and have been corresponding with the Manager, Mitchell Garcia, however he is no longer replying to my emails. Worst service I have ever experienced with a Hotel and I will never stay at another Hyatt owned Hotel!!

I recommend it!
This hotel honestly exceeded my expectations. They're pet friendly! Most of the hotels around the area charges $50-100 per day per pet but Hyatt Centric only charges per stay which is awesome. The location is awesome and will definitely book this the next time we visit the area. I highly recommend it esp if you're staying with your furbaby!

So/so
Hotel felt dated. Could use a refresh. Walls are pretty thin, could hear people in the next room. Charged $6 for a cup of coffee in a to go cup from the restaurant, drank it in the lobby while talking with someone and when I went for a refill (same cup), I was told I would be charged the full price. Felt like a silly money-grab to me. I have Hyatt status and have stayed at Hyatts all over the world - first experience with this type of thing.
