Horse Dump
I am writing to formally complain about my recent stay at the Horseshoe Las Vegas (a Caesars property). What should have been a straightforward hotel stay became one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. Your advertised $17.00 room rate is misleading once the mandatory $55.00 per-night resort fee plus tax is added, raising the real nightly cost dramatically. Even at that inflated rate, the service provided was unacceptable. During my entire stay: I placed four requests for housekeeping — our room was never cleaned, not even once. We had to beg daily for fresh towels, often with delayed response or no follow-through. I was told the room had been “serviced” on my second day at 1:08 PM, which is completely false. I asked to speak to a manager — and stated clearly that I would gladly walk with the manager to my room immediately to prove that it had never been touched by housekeeping at any time during my stay. The room was demonstrably unchanged. Check-in was a failure: after waiting in line at the express kiosk, we were redirected to the staffed desk where only two employees attempted to handle a line of 30–40 guests three days before Thanksgiving. The total wait exceeded two hours. The room lacked even basic amenities — no coffee machine, no complimentary bottled water, no guest comfort items — things even low-cost hotels provide without charging a so-called “resort fee.” To sum it up perfectly: I wanted to purchase two $1 casino chips as souvenirs — something that costs the casino virtually nothing. The cashier cage told me, “We don’t have chips here.” I then exchanged $100 at the craps table, walked straight back to the cashier, and cashed in $98, proving that this refusal was another example of needless inconvenience and misinformation. This entire experience confirms what public reviews already show — this is no longer a hospitality company, but a poorly run operation structured to cut service while continuing to charge premium fees. I am profoundly disappointed and will never stay at another Caesars-owned property. I still have 40–50 years of travel ahead of me, and not one future dollar will be spent with your brand. I expect acknowledgement of this complaint and an appropriate response.

Horseshoe on Thanksgiving
Overall experience was good. Room needed more attentiveness on cleanliness but housekeeping were friendly. Slots were tight and arcade was expensive but a good amount of games to choose from.

All caesars properties are bad. Avoid!
Caesars has ZERO customer service. No wonder nobody goes to vegas anymore. Employees are rude. They lie and do anything to take every last dollar from you. Nothing good about the experience anymore.

We definitely would be staying here.
Horseshoe hotels was one of the better hotels we have stayed on the strip. This hotel did not have a stale smell as others.

Veronica at front desk is undoubtedly one of your best in the business
Veronica at front desk is a superstar on two separate occasions she went out of her way to help. I was trying to get and on separate date return show tickets. She had no customers at her desk and came to my aid to purchase tickets when I could not figure out system on kiosk( am 81 yo so it is Greek to me) and again helped me get when play was cancelled to assure I got refund. Polite, cheerful, patience galore. You are truly lucky to have her as an employee..she goes the extra mile that most do not !!!!
