Dec 02, 2025A good place to stay for a night or two.
Our flight home was cancelled and the airline put us up in the Hilton. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very patient and friendly, even with 80 plus people from a cancelled flight all checking in at once. We had breakfast and dinner there, due to our vouchers. The food was plentiful, tasty and well made. There was a lot of construction/work on the hotel when we were there. I am sure once all the construction is complete, it will be an even better place to stay. Again, I must commend the staff for being so professional under difficult situations for both them and the guests.

Nov 12, 2025Not Hilton standards .
Simply not up to standard for a Hilton property — not even close to Hilton Garden Inn standards. The hotel is full of ongoing construction, and it’s disappointing that they continue normal operations despite the heavy work going on. It’s definitely not a pleasant sight or experience for guests upon arrival. Considering the situation, the management could at least show some goodwill gestures toward guests, but instead, they seem to be overly cost-controlled. Overall, a very poor experience and far below what you would expect from Hilton.

This hotel has seen better days and is urgent need of a make-over. Small, smelly room. Staff was not particularly friendly and helpful. Location is strange: it is not in walking distance to the airport (requires a for-fee (!) shuttle or a public bus), not in the city, but somewhere between a field and a freeway. Seems there are better options: if you need to stay at the airport, stay at the airport (and not here). If you want to be in the city, stay in the city (and not here).

Poor customer service and very dirty
I stayed at the Hilton Zurich Airport hotel Saturday night and wanted to share my experience. I understand that the property is currently under construction; however, there’s no excuse for the place being dirty and the awful customer service. Given the scale of the renovations, it would have been helpful to be informed in advance. There was no doorman or anyone available to assist with luggage. Additionally, the cot I had requested—and had received written confirmation for—was not placed in the room. When we returned to the hotel around 20:30, there was garbage scattered around the reception area. I assumed housekeeping would soon address it, but by the next morning, when I came down for coffee, the same trash remained—now joined by empty beer glasses and cigarette cartons (see attached pictures). It was truly unpleasant to see, and I was surprised that there wasn’t even a rubbish bin available to tidy up the area myself. When I mentioned this politely to the receptionist, she first stared at me blankly, then turned her back and ignored me. This kind of response was both unprofessional and disappointing. As a long-time Hilton customer, I have come to expect far higher standards of cleanliness, service, and courtesy. This experience felt more like a poorly managed two-star property than a Hilton. Fortunately, this was our final stop in Switzerland, as this stay does not reflect the excellent hospitality we encountered elsewhere in the country.

Just no. Stay in town and take a taxi. They have a major renovation going on now. Make shift restaurant and bar. Ridiculous. Took 2 hours to get non allergenic pillows. The elevator is broken. Hauling luggage down flights of stairs is no fun. No decaf coffee in restaurant. Old tired worn out hotel.
