Jan 22, 2026Fails at the one thing an airport hotel needs: a viable shuttle service
This is a barely adequate hotel. In my room, the showerhead leaked, sending a spray sideways. The hotel is dated. Since there is nothing in walking distance, any meals will be at the restaurant, which is overpriced and low quality. The worst part is the airport shuttle, which you have to pay for and which is too small for the guest demand. At check in they warned me to be ready to have to wait for a second or even third. Meanwhile, if you can, the hotels at the Circle are newer, walking distance inside the airport, and have many dining options. Stay here if you have no other choice.

I have an excellent two-day stay at the Hilton Zurich Airport, highlighted by the exceptional and friendly staff. I was greeted so warmly by Fahmi at check-in, and that was a preview of the great quality of the staff that I met. A big thanks. The room was quiet. Didn't hear external noise from traffic or the airport, nor any noise internal across rooms in the hallway. That made for a great sleeping environment. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and Wi-Fi was fast and stable. The furnishings, beside the bed and the TV, were dated but in good repair. The bathroom was small but well-maintained and clean. While clean, the fitness center probably could use a refresh. But it is available 24/7--a definite plus. I didn't use the transportation to/from the airport since I found it reasonably easy to walk. Great directions from AI. There is a supermarket across the street but didn't see any restaurants nearby except in the hotel. The breakfast was well-stocked and tasty. Didn't eat other meals there. Overall, an older property but still a nice play to stay near the Zurich Airport.

It was a wonderful stay at Hilton Zurich. The hotel is just a 10-minute drive from the airport. The crew lounge is very nice, and the breakfast area offers a beautiful view. There is also an executive lounge. Supermarkets like Coop and Aldi are nearby, which is very convenient. The best part is the jogging track near the hotel, surrounded by nature. Overall, it was a great and comfortable experience.

Decent airport hotel - nothing excellent but nothing terrible either
Comfortable beds and a good arrangement for a family of four (large sofa bed area for kids). Minor minus : hotel is not walking distance to the airport but the shuttle works. Rating the restaurant food a 3 only - quite standard food and not executed the best manner (burger / heavy Thai noodles). However service on a busy and likely understaffed New Year’s Eve was great: our waiter Ivan made sure we had all we needed and communicated very clearly and kindly. He seemed to be juggling quite a heavy workload very well.
