Thank you to the front desk colleagues and f&b
Had to stay at the hotel as my flight got cancelled. I am writing to recognize two departments in this hotel who were above my expectations. After three hours of ordeal with the airline company, I took the shuttle to the hotel and arrived at the hotel to be met by a great front desk team who was obviously a little overwhelmed as many people came at once due to the cancellation. However, they were smiling and super accommodating. They gave me a connector room and changed right away when I asked them. They super warm and genuinely caring. Due to the dreadful weather I stayed in my room the whole day. When it was time to get a bite, the maître d’ escorted me to the table, explained the buffet and wished me a good experience. Close to the end of my dining experience, the restaurant started getting busier and I saw the team was getting overwhelmed but always with the smile. I stood up and got to the maître d’ to sign the bill, and jokingly as he was running all over he said “it is on me… I got your room number”. His humor made me smile as he genuinely cared but was just so busy, he managed to throw a joke. At my check out the front desk was phenomenal and warm while bidding me a fond farewell. Thank you to F&B and the Front desk.

To begin….. excellent service from the time I walked through the doors and checked in. So obliging and friendly. Free airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel made it very easy for me bring a single, elderly solo traveller. I had an executive room looking out over the city. The room was perfect. Spacious and very clean. Lovely hot shower too. Most comfortable bed and fantastic pillows……to the point I slept in! Highly recommended as it is so easy to get into Zurich and the Old Town. Front desk staff are A+++

Nice hotel
Very nice hotel,clean and spacious rooms with nice amenities. I enjoyed the view of the planes from the restaurant and the bar. I loved the gondola inside the lobby. The breakfast was good, friendly staff, very convenient location near the airport.

Great Airport Hotel
The room was exceptional, the shuttles ran timely. The desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was a bit chaotic and seemed very understaffed. The breakfast though was easy to maneuver and pretty robust. If I ever go back to Zurich, I would stay here again.

Room is in poor condition.
Received an „upgrade“ to a room I would myself be embarrassed to have guests stay in. Hilton is really falling apart. The quality of this room is only slightly better than the worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed in a few weeks ago in Anaheim, CA. Ceiling paint (?) peeling away in bathroom; mold growing on ceiling and on shower tiles. Drain pan in shower was disgustingly dirty. Wallpaper (yes, wallpaper!) was also peeling off walls. Work desk is WAY too large and not functional with today’s technology. At least the room was quiet despite overlooking the Autobahn. I somehow get the feeling the Hilton is trying to lose long-standing Diamond members by offering such “upgraded” rooms. If this room is really (one of) the best this property has to offer, I would hate to have been in the room I actually booked.
