Except parking fee! All good
Wonderful staff, Nice location, clean rooms but you are gonna get cheated by Parking Fee! At first they said x$ for 24 hours but at the end you’ll pay xx$ even less than 24 hours… I spent 10 minutes taking to the responsible person but she didn’t want to accept the logic.

There on solo vacation and 1st time in Australia.
This Hilton is in such a fantastic location. Walk to everywhere or the tram is right outside the front door and airport train is 3 blocks away. Very nice and well kept Hilton, all front desk, bellman and executive lounge personnel were very polite and always smiling. You can't find a better location in Sydney.

Decent hotel, good location, but no longer my preferred choice.
For many years this was my preferred hotel when in Sydney, and as a Diamond member, Hilton my brand of choice. My last two stays though have disappointed. The refurbished rooms are nice, staff are still cheerful , but the overall experience has become bland, machine like and has lost the personalised, attentive service that always made me feel welcome and special. During my February stay, checkin was slow, a low floor room assigned, breakfast in Glass was a debacle, and getting our stored luggage on leaving was a comedy of errors and delays. My recent stay last month, was little better. Confusion at checkin, no resolution offered to a smelly room and no information on where the new (unimpressive) executive lounge was located. At least my stored luggage was not “misplaced” this time. It’s a good hotel, in a good location, but no longer for me.

Executive Lounge Moved to L1??!!!
I discovered today the Hilton has moved it's pre-eminent Executive Lounge from level 36 with the most magnificent views to . . . . Level 1. I can only assume they are trying to phase the offering out because it's either: too expensive, people weren't eating at the restaurants or no-one was going. The room it's now in is windowless, and half the size, with absolutely no charm. It reminds me of a fancy hospital in its starkness and sterility. Food offerings are dismal. Two hot options of which one is inedible. Two types of cheese, some deli meats, crackers and cucumber/capsicum/carrot round out the options. It is a far cry from what it once was. Some wine, beer and minimal spirits (whiskey and gin) are the alcoholic drink options. Coke and sprite are the softies. If I had known this, I would have booked a significantly cheaper room. Or gone elsewhere. I had only come back to the Hilton for the lounge. It's immaterial right now for my one night stay, but my disappointment is palatable. I won't be able to drink enough to make the room cost worth it. Check in was fine. The girl on the desk seemed extremely perturbed I had been upgraded, but I didn't take offence. No complaints about the room. It was clean and spacious for my needs. I've always felt slightly odd about the way the mini bar charges if you even just pick up an item (zero trust), but I suppose this is Sydney after all. Without the magnificent lounge, I see no reason to return. I hope management have a rethink about what seems to be an outrageous decision in which case, I might rethink mine.

A Great Hotel
Second time we have stayed here. Lovely location in central Sydney. Close to shopping and trains. The restaurants are great, the service is good and the ambiance is ok. A great business / shopping tourist Hotel. I would recommend that this Hotel be a strong consideration
