Exceptional Stay & Outstanding Event Support at Hilton San Francisco!
I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton San Francisco while attending the People’s Party – UCSF Black Caucus Gala, and I have to say: the entire experience was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment I arrived, the service set the tone. Vincent Venenciano greeted me like a human arrow — guiding, directing, and making sure I felt taken care of the second I stepped onto the property. That level of attention is rare, and it made a strong first impression. At the front desk, check‑in was smooth, warm, and efficient. The team was attentive and welcoming, immediately putting me at ease after my trip. Even the three doormen on Saturday morning brought great energy — friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help. My room was a highlight: overlooking the city with a view that made waking up a pleasure. Great water pressure, excellent TV service, a tub (which I was very happy about!), and room controls that made it easy to get perfectly comfortable. Simple things, but they matter — and Hilton delivered. The concierge, Scoti/Stevy (apologies if I didn’t catch the exact spelling), went above and beyond, including offering two bottles of water at check‑in. A small gesture, but a thoughtful and appreciated one. Now, on to the main reason for my visit: the gala. The event was executed flawlessly thanks to a powerhouse team: Jeanette Tevis, Catering Sales Manager Eddie Imperial, Assistant Director of Banquets Sara Powers, Senior Event Manager Along with the entire banquet team and Encore staff, they ensured the gala ran seamlessly from start to finish. Their coordination, professionalism, and attention to detail were exceptional. It’s rare to see an event of this scale feel so smooth, polished, and guest‑focused — they absolutely nailed it. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend the Hilton San Francisco to anyone visiting the city. Whether you're in town for business, an event, or just exploring, this property delivers comfort, service, and hospitality at a high level. I look forward to returning!

Clean property, helpful staff.
We had a great experience and will definitely be back to stay with you when we revisit the Bay. Everything was clean, and the staff was so helpful and welcoming. A special shoutout to the night auditor, Joaquin he went above and beyond to assist us. Truly one of the best! Hope the spelling of his name is correct.

Fantastic Service!!
I had the most wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. From my check-in with Kaira, to a wonderful concierge person named Javier. I was there to celebrate my birthday. Ms. Kaira made my check-in very pleasant. I was visiting from San Diego, arriving almost at 1 a.m. The people at the Herb Kitchen were simply amazing. Also, my bartender, Mr. Craig or Greg (if not mistaken), was fantastic. He definitely knew how to make my drinks. And last to the man for concierge in the pm shift on Thursday afternoon. Thank you for recommending me to John Grills was a fantastic place to finish celebrating my birthday. I was very pleased with the service and would definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this location. Very close to everything to do, like taking the city tour and the Fisherman's Wharf. Thank you for the great experience :)

Broken elevators- use at your own risk
TL;DR elevators got stuck for 42 minutes plus heard it got stuck again a couple to days later. I’m writing to follow up on a safety incident during my recent stay at the Hilton in San Francisco. On 1/21, I was trapped in a hotel elevator for approximately 42 minutes along with multiple other guests. The elevator became uncomfortably warm, and the San Francisco Fire Department assisted in getting us out. While I understand that mechanical issues can happen, the experience was distressing, and the hotel declined any service recovery when I raised it on site or any goodwill. What prompted me to write this out now is that I’ve since learned the same elevator became stuck again a couple of days later, involving another group of guests. Given the short timeframe between incidents, I’m concerned this may indicate an unresolved safety or maintenance issue. Tried reaching out personally through chat because no email is provided and I was left waiting for someone to get back to me for 40+ minutes and eventually gave up
