A nostalgic, special stay
Part of our reason for staying was nostalgia as we have stayed here several times with our children when they were young, and we had a bit of a trip down memory lane, remembering fun times. The hotel refurbishments have finished since the last time we stayed, and the facilities are excellent in both the Signia and the Waldorf. The Signia pool is great for kids, while the Waldorf pool is more adult. The staff were amazing, and we were looked after beyond expectations with a wonderful room upgrade and late checkout for our flights back to the UK. Emily in guest services was so helpful and a special shout out to Jeff who looked after us at breakfast where there is a great buffet. Both made our stay special. We had dinner at the Bull and Bear in the Waldorf and the food and service were exceptional, well worth it for a special occasion – 30 years of marriage. The hotel is close to the parks, which are easily accessible by the free shuttle bus. So it is great for couples or families wanting to stay in Disney for a few days or longer. You don't need a car for a short trip, the bus/Uber will be fine. A special place, highly recommended.

Great hotel, but many items stolen from multiple rooms
Beware - keep your Do Not Disturb Sign on or lock up your stuff. We went with a group of 65 students for the Beta trip and two students had expensive items stolen, one teacher had an item stolen, and two of our students were kicked out of their room by housekeeping. The buses do not run as regular as you may think and you will be waiting an awful long time for transportation. One of our groups waited an hour when according to the schedule, it should've been there within 15 minutes. Overall, it's a great hotel for conventions, but having items stolen is NOT a good experience, especially for high school kids who have saved their own money to buy souvenirs from Disney.

Great hotel
This is a lovely hotel. Very comfortable and close to the Disney World Parks. We were able to get adjoining rooms, which was a big help too. The staff we met in the various areas were polite, friendly, and helpful. Their pool was great fun for the kids, and they have plenty of options to grab a drink, snack, or a meal. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the pool, with the bar and the fires adding atmosphere. Santa was even there in the run up to Christmas.

Excellent option
Second visit and still very happy with this place. Nice sized and quiet rooms. Busy but not overwhelming lobby. Besides the early entry - great option to stay near parks. Our go to in this area and happy for it. Stayed previously October 2023.
