A-1 Service
We were there from 02/14 to 2/18 and had great service from your employees. The maid service was great! A special shoutout for server Samantha at the Hideaway Jerk Chicken Hut. She was efficient, friendly, and a true pleasure to meet. A great asset to your resort!

Drop in Service
Property is beautiful, room was clean properly maintained with good view however mini-bar was not stocked on arrival. Staff courteous but food underwhelming - all tasted the same and lacked flavour. I was there for a four day convention, the cross-over from blue waters to hideaway where the meeting centre was felt highly policed by hotel staff leading to several members our group being made to feel like we were trespassing. To add to this after checking in and being told we could dine at any of the restaurants on property, we were refused from dining on those closer to hideaway thereby restricting dining to steak restaurant and buffet. To add to this some additional attendees to the convention who utilized day passes were refused service at certain bars being told to seek assistance elsewhere. Having been to this property with family twice before and given top notch reviews from those experiences, it is sad to say the level of service seems to be on a definite decline . Not sure what the future holds but I do not have any immediate plans to return.

Very disappointed.
Here at the moment, I will make a fuller rewiew when home, but i feel I must make a comment on the adult pool entertainment staff, we are a group of mature adults, staying at Hideaway, unfortunately the music and entertainment at the pool infront of the beach is more incoming of a 18 to 30 group, antics edged on by the pool staff. Not at all what we would have expected, or indeed advertised. As I previously stated, a fuller review will be forth coming.

Staff experience
Fletcher and Kimmone from Aquarius Bar! I had to take the time out to give them a special shoutout! I literally did not want to leave! They made my experience memorable! These staff are the star at Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters. I had fun! Definitely coming back

Better Than Expected – A Relaxing Stay with Diamond Club Perks
I booked our trip almost a year in advance, and as the date approached, I started to feel nervous due to some of the negative reviews. Now that I’ve returned, I wanted to share a more optimistic viewpoint. Room & Diamond Club Perks We stayed in a Luxury Presidential Jacuzzi Two-Bedroom Suite with Diamond Club benefits, and I believe this significantly enhanced our experience. The suite was spacious, offering three separate beds, a living room with a couch, a bar area, and two balconies overlooking the pools. The beds were comfortable, and the showers worked well. We had an issue with the air conditioning, which turned off during the night because the motion sensors were in the living room, but this got resolved. The Diamond Club upgrade came with several perks that we found worthwhile, including a dedicated butler (messaging via WhatsApp), priority reservations at à la carte restaurants, a private beach area with upgraded lounge chairs, and access to the Diamond Club lounge with an impressive selection of top-shelf liquors. I’ve never seen a lounge bar at an all-inclusive resort stocked with such premium options, including 18-year-old Glenfiddich. While the in-room liquor selection wasn’t as good, we solved this by taking drinks from the lounge back to our room in takeaway cups. Bottles of wine were provided in the room upon request. Food & Drinks The food was overall quite good. The à la carte restaurants were enjoyable, and the buffet had a wide variety of options. We really enjoyed the jerk hut on the beach and had lunch there most days. Food safety practices in the buffet appeared good. Beach, Pools & Atmosphere The Hideaway side is the adults-only section, though it shares some restaurants and the buffet with the family-friendly side. The beach setup is divided into a family section, an adults-only section, and the Diamond Club area, which had the best padded lounge chairs and waiter service. Both the beach and pools were lovely, with warm, swimmable water. What Could Be Improved While we had a great time, there were a few areas for improvement: 1) Many beach chairs were lower quality, and by mid-morning, finding an available one was often difficult. With so much real estate by the pools and beach, the resort should invest in more (and better) seating options with shade. 2) Drinking water in the rooms and on the beach was provided in 500 mL plastic bottles. Our small group drank over 100 bottles in a week, and I can’t imagine the plastic waste over a year. Many resorts have switched to water refill stations or larger reusable bottles, and this resort should consider doing the same. 3) The suite had a few small snacks on arrival, but they were not replenished, which was annoying given the cost of staying in a Presidential Suite. 4) A big issue for me was that I consistently observed plastic cups at the bars being only rinsed with water, with no visible soap or proper washing. If a sterilizing solution was used, it wasn’t apparent. Similarly, in our luxury suite, I watched the housekeeper only rinse our used glassware in the sink without soap. The management team needs to address this issue. Final Thoughts Despite the deficiencies, our experience was excellent. Our butlers were friendly and helpful, and we were able to fully relax and enjoy the resort. I rounded up my rating to 5 stars because, in the end, we decided we would return—but I fully acknowledge that our Diamond Club upgrade played a significant role in our positive experience.
