    Bottom line stay away from this hotel. Reviews are inflated and it is pure rip off I did not believe negative reviews, trusted the brand n came here. Property is outdated. Old rooms,rusted tub, shower door wont close either. If you are vegetarian you have to just eat pizza. Only good point is location. For the value they should not be even charging half of the nightly price. No happy vibes here n its dull.pool is vacant by 8pm😄😄If they could refund i will just go book another one near by . Compared to all the inclusives we stayed i give it 1/10 Very upset!! Save your money n spend at good place.

    Winter 2024

    The hotel needs an update desperately. We had cold showers every day despite management and maintenance’s attempts. Our butlers Ernesto and Alexis were amazing! Many times the brought us our late day snacks when we were told that it would be at least 40 mins by room service. Food was great.

    Review At A Glance: I do highly recommend this establishment, there are a few minor things to account for. Solid B-. Rooms: Clean, modern, comfortable, not much relaxed lighting tho. Some attention needed in the hard to clean areas. Fantastic bed, blankets & sheets, black out curtains, decent AC. Porch lights go off at 10p, house music goes off at 11p. Beach: Clean. Plenty of space for playing and relaxing. Volleyball court, Rental day beds with servers, reserved day beds for Legendary and Rock Royalty. Somewhat pushy locals selling hats, cigars, tchotchkes and "other stuff". Bars: Well stocked and friendly servers. 1 wet pool bar with entertainment & music. 1 wet pool bar thats quiet and family oriented. 1 poolside bar on the patio. 1 indoor bar with kids playing on pool tables. 1 Rock Royalty bar (3rd floor), very quiet. Pools 1 large main pool 2 Rock Royalty pools (3rd floor), very quiet 1 legendary hot tub/pool area Entertainment: A lot of the entertainment staff currently are new and haven't quite found their groove yet. 3 different pool aerobic activities from 11a-2p, leaving many not entertained. Other games are boring and not inclusive to all guests. Food: Always fast, fresh and prepared well, however tasting bland, lacking seasoning and very small portions. Any kind of bread or bun I had wasn't good. Restaurants do have some wild menu options, however, most of the food is middle of the road, average american cuisine. (Pizza, burgers, chicken, hot dogs.) Upgraded "turn up the volume" menu items available for an additional cost but are very expensive. Rock Royalty: At one time this was an exclusive perk. Lately, They have slowly stripped away all of the benefits, enticing you to want to become a legendary member. You get top shelf booze, but it really doesn't matter. Smoking: Three or four designated spots not too far away. One who Vapes doesn't have any problem vaping wherever they like, that can be bothersome to some people. Private events happen all around the complex. It can be bothersome because the spot that used to be a common area is now closed for a private event, and the guests trying to have a nice private wedding on the terrace now has annoying drunk people all around them. Staff: Every single person I encountered was very friendly, helpful, cheery, knowledgeable and welcoming. The Security, bell hops, towel/chair assistants, transportation, housekeeping, front desk, bartenders, servers, everyone....5 stars. Room Service has a broad menu and is fast and fresh. Main lobby and all comon areas are clean and staff is usually close by if you need anything. Stores are well stocked and have mostly what you would want. Music Lab is fun but some of the gear is a little junky. Auditorium has decent acts that don't drag on with a mobil bar, plenty of seats, good audio and visual equipment.     Don’t do it !!!

    First off , let me start by saying that we travel a lot. We have traveled all over the Caribbean, Dominican Republic ,overseas, Japan, Taiwan ,Taipei and all over the states. This experience was probably in the top 1% of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. It is nothing short of a scam Let’s start with the hotel .. it’s awful. Rooms are very out dated to begin with .. run down , smell-like mildew and if you pay attention you can literally see the dirt and grime in the filters up in the ceiling. The rooms have a tub in it, which I wouldn’t wash my dog in. They were disgusting discolored the Jets had black around them now mind you we had to stay in two different rooms at this hotel because they accidentally put us in the wrong room for the first night and both were just as bad as the other. Now, on the first night in the second room, they gave us for the duration of our stay. I literally put a piece of tape on the sheet by accident when I was opening I package. didn’t really think much of it the next day I saw it left it. We left for the day down to the pool came back after room service. That piece of tape was still there meaning they didn’t change the sheets so I’m guessing they didn’t change the pillowcases the towels that they gave us on the sink were wrapped up still had my daughter’s make up on them I mean come on seriously try a little bit. Would you ??? the toilet was ridiculous. It had no flushing power so if you went to the bathroom and put just a little bit of toilet paper in the it would clog we had to call maintenance three times to unclog the toilet now on a serious note if you open the balcony doors to go outside, the air shuts off on the inside, which is fine and expected ,the problem is they have tile floors that literally turned into ice after about five minutes of that door being open because of the humidity, I cannot tell you how many times we slipped on that, fell against the bed fell against the dresser It is a serious health hazard that needs to be addressed. So please be aware if you are an older person staying at this hotel. Now I can keep going on about the rooms but I think you get the idea now let’s talk about as soon as you check in. Literally people will stop you and try to sell you a timeshare. This goes on constantly unless you agree to go sit there for 90 minutes and listen to the ridiculous speel on how affordable it is to buy into it .. $17,000 by the way . I literally said no to them probably a dozen times in three days. It’s nonstop. They don’t care. They will keep stopping you. They will find you when you get off the elevators. They will find you when you’re eating. They will find you down by the pool they will find you everywhere so eventually I said yes, so I wouldn’t have to deal with it anymore and I could just kind of try to enjoy my vacation That did not happen . So after you sit there and listen to the 90 minute talk on how “great “ this place is a new person comes over and we’ll sit there and try to commit you to pay a certain price over and over and over and over again you will say no they will go oh but if you pay this amount or this amount or this amount what if I drop it to this amount and this goes on for about 10 or 15 minutes well it did in our case anyway ,remember this is after the 90 minutes so now we’re looking at almost 2 hours of listening to this they say fine let’s give you your room credits because you’re not gonna buy and by the way the attitude you get when you say no is ridiculous. They walk you up the stairs you go to another person to sign some papers so you can get your room credit that you are promised when you go listen to the b s, that person will sit there and try to sell it to you again ask you 1 million times if you’re sure you don’t want to do this meanwhile they’re holding the paper hostage so you can’t sign it until they’re thoroughly convinced that you’re not going to buy it.. then you leave and have to go see one more person to attach the credits to your room and you guessed it, they try to sell you again making sure that you do not want to buy!! I could keep going on and on and on about how ridiculous that whole experience was, but I am going to move on now to the food. The only good food they had was the breakfast buffet other than that the steakhouse if you eat anywhere else besides those two places You’re gonna be disappointed the food was atrocious. It was awful. It was simple. It was disgusting.. room service food forget it don’t do it now I fully expect a response from the hotel saying something stupid like we are working on the problem. We are sorry that you had a bad experience. If you read back to the reviews people you’ll see the same response from six months ago, that their “working on the problem“ yeah they’ve been working on the problem according to the reviews for a year and they still haven’t fixed them one last note walking up the steps by the legendary room, which you’ll see if you go, which I hope you don’t I flipped over backwards because the floor was so wet. Do you think they did anything think they offered me anything nope nothing so that should sum it up for you people

    Jesse and Kevoy are awesome!

    Thanks to Jesse and Kevoy our stay was amazing. They made sure we had chairs at the pool everyday. Not easy to do when you need 14 chairs. They made reservations for every restaurant we wanted to eat dinner every night. They arranged a special private dinner for all of us and the food was amazing. Jesse arranged for our group reservations for the soft opening of the newly renovated Zen restaurant. It was my favorite dinner of the week. None of this would have been possible if not for Jesse and Kevoy.
