Oct 14, 2024INCONSIDERATE HOTEL
This hotel is very inconsiderate during a difficult time last week with hurricane Milton. I was being evacuated with my elderly parents and we found a closer hotel. I tried to cancel online and could not get through, now they will not give me a refund. I don't think people understand what you go through while being evacuated. WRONG on so many levels!!!

RUDE EMPLOYEE during a very vulnerable time period.
Tried to book here for displaced employees from Hurricane Helene. Something was wrong with the Credit Card Authorization process and the manager at the front desk called us and said that our displaced employee " is not going to be staying at my hotel!" and told us to contact the system that THEY use to get the card information straight. We have booked over 300 rooms for this event trying to help the community and he was EXTREMELY rude. We will NOT be booking any more of our employees at this location.

This is a very dated hotel, the lobby smells of urine. During our stay we tried to set a wake up call on the room phone, phone receiver fell out of our hands disconnected and could not get it to stay connected took the phone to front desk just to be told after much back and forth with Tammy that the phones in our room and the next room were and had been out of order for some time. Bathroom tiles not very clean beds were clean but no sleep all night due to early wake up for Mayo clinic appt left us so tired, front desk clerk did arrive at 430 AM with a wake up door knock but really phones that dont work?? requested a rate discount at check out and was told to call Manager well that went to voice mail left msg, still no response doubt we will ever hear from them

May 12, 2024Pretty Band-Aid Over an Aging Property
Our room was very nicely decorated, modern and clean, but the bathroom not so much. Both our sink and shower drains were clogged - ankle-deep in water is no fun. Makes me wonder how well the housekeeping cleans if they don't notice that the drains are clogged. While the beds were comfortable, the air conditioner was so loud we had to turn it off at night (talk about a hot and humid room in Florida). I tried earplugs, but the vibration was so pronounced and rang through my ears. You could even hear it in the bathroom where it sounded like a chopper was overhead.

Key system down first 24 hours we were there ; no discount allowed!
Disappointing that key system broken first 24 hours here. No discount given. Had to wait for someone to escort us each time we went to room.not usual standard for Hampton. Very cold potatoes this morning. Mgr’s response was “not our fault that key system broke.” Won’t stay here again. Some delayed maintenance in bathroom. Also, at arrival room ac set on 64 degrees, what an environmental waste and freezing in room for hours.
