    Nice Rooms, Not Nice Area

    In the past week I have stayed at both the Hampton Inn Broad Street and the Jewellery Quarter. The rooms were identical however the Jewellery Quarter was substantially cheaper. The rooms are nice, good condition and clean. The main issue is that the showers are not very powerful. The Jewellery Quarter is not a very nice area but it’s only 15 mins or so walk to the centre of Birmingham. The breakfast here was acceptable but Broad Street was better.

    Comfortable hotel but the area is rough

    This hotel is ok bar and restaurant is just ok! But the room was large clean and tidy, air con working fine. Bathroom again clean tidy and spacious, one small issue? the shower tray filled before it drained! Large 50” tv in bedroom was great. Breakfast full English or continental I had full English! only half was warm rest was cold! Coffee from machine was not very nice. Main issue with the hotel was the area? Outside after dark is not recommended there are plenty of savoury characters.

    Stayed here a few times, the central location is perfect. Staff are helpful, must mention Akua on reception who is probably one of the best reception staff I have ever met - so helpful, comical and really brightened our evening with her “rock, paper, scissors” what a star

    Clean, modern and friendly professional staff. Good location next to public transport for the city. We would stay again.

    Clean, modern, friendly & helpful staff. I would stay her again, can’t imagine why this place has a few bad reviews. We also enjoyed using their gymn room. Room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast was lovely. No complaints from us.

    Miss s

    i am appalled by the lack of consideration for one of my family member who is allergic to feathers and we proceed to get our pillows changed but then the duvet is still feathers even though the staff know about the allergy and they didn't inform us about the duvet.
