One of the worst hotels in Jamaica
I had a very disappointing experience at Grand Palladium Jamaica and feel obligated to warn others before they consider signing up for their membership program. From the moment we arrived, the service was extremely underwhelming. Many staff members came across as unhelpful and uninterested, with very dry personalities that made it feel like guests were more of a burden than a priority. The room situation was even worse. When we entered our room, it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned after the previous guests. There was half-eaten food still left in the room, which was both shocking and unhygienic. On top of that, the bathroom roof was leaking, making the stay even more uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there were no blankets in the room at all. I called and requested them, but they were never delivered. I eventually had to go to the office the following day and request them a second time just to get something as basic as blankets. Naturally, we brought these issues to management and requested a room change. Despite the obvious cleanliness and maintenance problems, no accommodation was made to move us to another room. This lack of concern for guest comfort was extremely frustrating. Because of this experience, I strongly do not recommend signing up for the membership. It simply isn’t worth the money if this is the level of service and care guests receive. Overall, this stay fell far below expectations for a resort that markets itself as a luxury destination. I would suggest looking at other options if you want a clean room, helpful staff, and a more welcoming experience.

Nice, but just ok
The Grand Palladium was a solid 3 stars. Our family of 4 went for spring break. It was good, but not great. The rooms were pretty nice and the bartenders were great. Otherwise, everything is just ok. Service was very slow, even for Jamaican time. Everyone was friendly and polite, but very slow. The food was subpar (breakfast was the best of any). The resort app was terrible. It takes about an hour to figure out how to navigate to the portion of the app that actually provides you the information you need...and they do not explain it at check in (even when I went back to the front desk to ask they didn't have a clue how the app worked). Check in was very slow and OUTSIDE. So you stand in line forever and are dripping with sweat. The grounds and pools are nice. The resort is HUGE so it take time to get anywhere. Thankfully, our building was relatively close to the main building with all of the restaurants. A good mix of people, including families with young kids, families with teenagers (like us), college spring breakers, middle age couples and seniors. A good mix of activities and entertainment, although we just laid by the pool/beach and relaxed. We won't return (we like to try new places), but it was pretty good for the price.
