We had a nice time. We had a group of 7 and had 3 rooms. My family came in one day before my sisters family. I checked that next morning a couple hours before they arrived and they didn’t have my sisters 2 rooms by us and the front desk remedied it for us and changed her rooms to be in building 13 by us. I saw a Costco travel review to book dinner reservations ahead of time so I emailed the hotel directly 2 days before arrival and got our first 3 dinner reservations for all 7 of us. Upon arrival we booked the rest of our à la carte dinner reservations through guest services. We thought food was good. Main course dinners take a long time to come out though. Our first time at Japanese restaurant we sat in normal menu seating and had 7pm reservation and didn’t get main course til 8:35pm. 2nd time we went there we booked a tempanyaki/hibachi table and you get the show and you don’t order off the menu and they cook the fried rice, vegetables, chicken, steak and salmon in front of you. Also went to steak restaurant twice. Also did Italian restaurant. We looked at the menus for Mexican, Indian, Mediterranean and Jamaican restaurants and they didn’t look appetizing which was disappointing since we like seafood and Mexican food. Drinks were good too. Alex by the main pool near the kids water slides took great care of us always making good sweet flavorful drinks. The 2 gentleman by the Italian restaurant and also the ones by the steak restaurant made us really good pineapple mango mojitos. We thought the staff was always very friendly to us. The lifeguard Mark was one of our favorites. So friendly, talkative and funny. The reason I rated a 4/5 is because Thursday night we all had cold showers in our building. Then on Friday, the resorts water system was down for several hours. So no washing hands, working toilets, showers. They didn’t bring out any hand sanitizer either. Just gross and very unsanitary.

Annakaye and Mimi in the kids club were amazing. Loved the show and really felt at ease leaving the kids there.

We had an amazing experience at Grand Palladium! The kids club is fantastic — such a safe, fun, and welcoming environment, and it really gave us peace of mind knowing the kids were in great hands. A huge shoutout to Trizzel, AnnaKaye, Mimi, and Tash — they were absolutely brilliant! So friendly, attentive, and full of energy, they made sure the kids were always engaged and having a great time. You can really tell they love what they do. Also, a special mention to the spa ladies, Shernette and Tishka, who were more than happy to help me — they were so kind, professional, and made the experience even more enjoyable. All the staff around the resort are lovely and always more than happy to help, which really made a difference to our stay. The food is also great, with plenty of options for everyone. Highly recommend for families — it truly made our trip even better!

Great vacation
We had a great family vacation. Because the resort is very large and the pool is huge, we never had to get up at the crack of dawn to save chairs. We were a group of 13 and we may not have our chairs all side by side but we were always very close to each other. We went to the beach most days after breakfast and always got chairs together. The buffets were very good, the speciality restaurants were just ok. The resort is well maintained, the staff were friendly.

Sugar cane experience
