    Santa Tea

    great event with Santa! The set up was fabulous and everyone was friendly! Cookies and Hot Chocolate were fabulous! Staff was friendly! Hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays! Would highly recommend coming during the holidays for all of the decorations!

    Christmas in NOLA

    Hotel staff are great and very helpful, bell hop is also a great guy. They gave me and my wife some great tips for Christmas light viewings and which trolleys to ride. Food here is also great, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Centrally located with great places to eat nearby.

    Not what it used to be.

    1. Our trip first went wrong when we arrived and were told the valet parking was "closed"-and the closest parking was a garage 5 blocks away-so we dragged our luggage 5 blocks through crowded streets of New Orleans at night. 2. We were given a Queen room instead of the King we had reserved and prepaid and the sheets were sideways on one of the beds (strange) and one of the pillows had no pillowcase. The air conditioning did not work. 3. The next morning the hot water ran out halfway through my wife's shower. 4. Dirty towels were removed and replaced with ONE clean towel, no hand towels, etc. Tried to call front desk about the towels and no answer. After walking down to ask for a clean towel, it never came. 5. The common areas around elevator had dirty carpet both days we were there. 6. Though this is rated a 4 or 4.5 star hotel there are none of the expected services (room service, mini bar, drinking water in room). I've stayed here at least 6-7 times over the past 10 years and have always been satisfied. Something has changed. The location is still great but this is a 3 star hotel at best and expectations should be lowered.

    Excellent hotel staff, clean rooms, in the heart of New Orleans close proximity to everything

    The service was exceptional very kind front desk associates. I want to recognize one particular individual Rayon who is a front desk associate on the night shift who told me about the perks of becoming a IHG member which was free to sign up. I was unaware of how many other hotel brands are under this chain that I stay at quite often. This hotel is located in the heart of Canal street and Bourbon St. 20 min walk to the Superdome and a 10 min walk to Caesars Casino. I’ll definitely stay here again.

    Commander's win in NOL.

    The consiger Carla was awesome. She provided us with great information that helped us enjoy our stay in New Orleans. Our hotel stay was good. Check in was smooth and staff were helpful and friendly. However, there was a leak from the ice machine that went into our room. We reported it. They did shop vac our room. We reported the leak a second time because the carpet was wer on the hallway. I guess since it was the weekend, no repair was done during our stay. The view was not good.
