EXPENSIVE PARKING
Parking is ONLY valet and they charge you $60 PER DAY. Why do I need to pay to park at a hotel that I ALREADY PAID TO STAY AT? This is ridiculous. The bathtub was clogged and water wouldn't go down while you showered which is GROSS! They don't provide you with free water bottles in the room like other places.

Be very careful with your cards at this hotel - Mucho cuidado con sus tarjetas en este hotel
I had a stay at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis for 10 days, during my stay the hotel charged my card for two transactions for a total value of 360USD, when I requested an explanation at the hotel during my stay as to why they charged unauthorized amounts they told me that it was insurance for the stay that they would return after 5 days. They have not returned the money and in addition to this they now say that the transactions are not registered in their system. Be very careful with your cards at this hotel, they charge amounts to your cards and then no one responds. Tuve una estadia en el Marriott Marquis de Atlanta por 10 días, durante la estadía el hotel cargo a mi tarjeta dos operaciones por un valor total de 360USD, cuando solicite explicación en el hotel durante mi estadia de por qué cargaron montos no autorizados me refirieron que era un seguro por la estadía que devolverían a los 5 días. No han devuelto el dinero y adicional a ello ahora dicen que no les registra en su sistema las operaciones. Tengan mucho cuidado con sus tarjetas en este hotel, cargan montos a sus tarjetas y luego nadie responde.

Great staff!!!
The staff were 5 star!!! David was amazing and was so helpful during our arrival. All staff were friendly and offered great customer service. Our keys did not work on several occasions due to batteries in the locks being dead. Upon arrival we had to change rooms. On Saturday night, once again our keys didn’t work. Other guests were having the same problem so something off with management Hot tub was not working. Overall due to helpful staff our experience was good. Our experience in downtown Atlanta was very good. Very friendly people.

needs some remodeling inside and thorough cleaning in the rooms
The hotel structure is very grand and beautiful from the outside.... But the hotel needs attention in cleanliness and updated bathroom. My room carpet had stains and it was very clear has not been steamed cleaned for a very long time or the carpet needed to be removed. Bathroom sink hot faucet handle kept falling off the screw and had to screw it back on every time I used it. It's also always nice to have attached makeup mirror in the bathroom. The location is excellent, close to MARTA (Peachtree Center) The staff was very friendly

Wonderful staff...especially Pamela!
I’m only traveling through Atlanta a couple of times each year…maybe 5-10 days/yr…but I always prefer the Marriott Marquis on Peachtree Center Ave, because of the staff. I always have a great experience…and Pamela Bronner at the front desk is the best I’ve encountered in all of my travels. Frequent Travelers, like me, are always having to change dates at the last minute or need help with something we forgot…and Pamela just reminds me to take a breath…don’t worry…because she’ll take care of it. And she does…every…single…time. I wish everywhere I travelled had a Pamela…she’s simply the best!
