    Great hotel, perfect location

    Staff at the Andaz are super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are modern and clean. Bathroom with rain shower is high end and very nice. Glad we chose Andaz will definitely be returning on next visit to Ottawa.

    Nice location- A bit disappointing

    This is a nice hotel. Appears a bit run down now. Soiled upholstery/ carpets, rooms with a bit of wear and tear. Front desk not trained regarding policies regarding charges and giving incorrect info- resulting in being charged for breakfasts after checkout that were told to be free:

    Jackhammer noise

    Typically clean, nice Hyatt property...don't plan to stay here until the construction next door is complete (a year?). Relentless, loud, jack-hammering noise from 7:01 a.m. until well past 9:00 p.m. in the evening. There are many hotels with a lot less noise in the city.

    Great Luxury Hotel Experience!

    We had a corner king deluxe room and really enjoyed our stay! There is some serious construction happening next door and it was not understated, they started at 9am Sunday morning but that wasn't an issue as we were packing up to head out anyways. I can't say enough good things about this place but for the next short while, I do not recommend a room on the construction side if you need to be in it during the daytime.

    Expensive noise - limited options

    Truly, incredibly expensive to pay for nothing but noise. From 7am to 7pm even on Saturday and Sunday. This is a 1 star hotel at the moment. If you stay here, you will have a terrible experience until they sort out that noise. Rooms, we're ok. Food was good. Restaurant on the main floor is only open for breakfast. You can only get dinner at the rooftop bar, which had a very small menu. Only 3 entrees, a burger - decent, the Penne wasn't even available ... and some expensive $48 thing. So really all they have is a burger.
