Good location, horrible customer experience
Nice hotel, horrible guest services. I spent a week at this property while on a work trip for meetings at the convention center. It is easy access to the convention center and clean. Unfortunately, while staying at the hotel, my credit card number was associated with another guest. When I brought this to their attention, they shared the name of the person that I was paying for, and told me that in order for me to get a refund, I would have to track that person down and secure a payment. So I went to work and found that person and got them to call in and pay for their stay. After completing that task, I called in to get proof that I was getting a refund on my overpayment. When talking to Serena, she said that they cant provide proof of refund for up to 14 business days. I explained that I understand, getting the money back can take that long and was acceptable, she then told me that to even get a receipt showing I was going to receive a refund would be 14 business days. I dont understand how they can say that they are giving me a refund, yet can not provide proof of that refund. I dont understand how they can make me find the responsible party and not take any ownership of the issue, but it seems like thats an issue with travelling as part of a large convention, so I give them somewhat a pass. In terms of customer service, listening to the customer and providing a solution, there was none. In terms of issues at the hotel, the doors that lead into parking lot dont unlock with your key as advertised. One of their maintenance people, who did happen to see me trying to get in one evening, told me that they dont work and its a known issue. Again, if you expecting guests to use your parking, maybe it makes sense to have the doors work. There was a fire alarm during my stay and while I was able to exit a door near my room, I then had to go to the main entrance because they havent put the money into upkeep of the property. Ultimately, its close to Disney and the convention center. They have the market cornered in terms of location, but if you have other options, stay at the Hilton across the street or a different brand of hotel because Marriott in Anaheim isnt a place you want to have issues.

Room 161
Stayed in room 161 - a lovely king room with outdoor patio leading onto the pool area. Really nice toiletries included with even a deep sleep pillow spray. Hotel was easy 15-20 minute walk to the parks. I walked back on my own after 10pm, area is very safe. Would stay again.

Excellent, convenient hotel for visiting Anaheim
Excellent, convenient hotel for visiting Anaheim, whether for business or pleasure. Good, comfortable rooms and fine service. The hotel is conveniently located close to multiple shops and restaurants and within walking distance of Disney Park. Overall, it is a typical high-quality Marriott hotel.

All good
We have stayed here a couple of times the past few years, we love the proximity of it to the parks. Also as bonvoy members, we get access to the lounge which was a great space. We checked in monday afternoon, went to the parks and got back to the room around midnight. There was an incident in the room that took us a couple minutes to take care of, we let someone know on the bonvoy app message and they responded after a few minutes. We took photos as proof, the next day we stopped by the front desk to express the concern. Anthony and Jada assisted us, we showed them the photo and they quickly took care of the situation. They listened to us and was compassionate to the situation. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, but thankful for Anthony and Jada.
