  Great hotel for comfort and location.

  This was our first time at an Aloft property as well as staying in Sarasota. We found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable and its location is excellent. Only a walk away from the waterfront where there is a nice park and also an easy walk to many different restaurants.

  Arthur the bartender is this hotels secret weapon.

  Stayed at this hotel on a business trip. Room was very spacious,quiet and bed was comfy. Best part of the hotel was Arthur, the bartender . He was GREAT! Very nice and accommodating. The live music was a pleasant surprise. The musician was excellent.

  One night stay

  The hotel itself was clean, bright, and spacious—plenty of room to relax, and the location was fantastic for getting around. Everything about the physical space felt welcoming and well-maintained. However, the front desk experience left something to be desired. The attendant lacked basic customer service skills like greeting guests properly or making eye contact, which made us feel unwelcome right from the start. It was a disappointing contrast to the otherwise pleasant environment. On the bright side, the valet service was excellent—convenient, efficient, and the valet attendant was incredibly polite and professional. That kind of warmth really stood out. Overall, a great stay with room for improvement in guest-facing service.

  Air conditioner located under a desk which made the room uncomfortable

  First of all the location was great. Centrally located in downtown Sarasota. Close walk to the Saturday morning market. Great place to get breakfast. Pool and hot tub. We're located on the 8th floor and also very nice. Why it got the poor rating was but you cannot control the temperature in the room because of the poor location of the air conditioner. You'll be able to see that in my pictures. They built a desk over the AC unit and it makes a tunnel going directly for one side of the bed. Unfortunately that was my side so one side of the room was hot and the other side was freezing. No blankets available in the room. I guess I had to call front desk. Don't know why this room was so poorly designed which caused the guests to be uncomfortable. The breakfast was underwhelming. They were out of wraps at 8:00 in the morning on the weekend. No excuse.

  Hotel? More like a Motel or worse

  I’m a Marriott member and we travel a lot within and outside the states. The ambiance is good but staffs & facilities sucks. Alternate days house cleaning and when they do clean, not the beds only clean towels and take the trash. Beats the purpose of staying in a hotel. Don’t even bother with their breakfast. We always book room with breakfast included since we have a toddler but this hotel has 4 items on their menu and that’s it. Nothing fresh made either. And lastly we also had bad experience with the people next door to us. If my toddler cried, they would bang the door and scream from next door. I guess she doesn’t have any kids so doesn’t know toddler tantrums. But she’s could have asked to get her room changed. Every night she banged 🤦🏻‍♀️ Never staying at any Aloft hotels Ever! Felt like a Motel.
